As such the grounds are hilly and can at times be muddy depending on the rains. <br /><br />Your rustic farm-stay shares a kitchen, outdoor shower, and eco-toilet with other travelers. It also means that in Hawaii, a subtropical island, we experience intervals of mosquito or termite pressure. Resonant Coqui frogs, native to Puerto Rico, sing at night and sound like crickets. We consider these players as part of our ecosystem and strive to maintain a balance. Our grounds are beautiful and fertile, partly tamed and partly wild.
