Guests are advised to bring or purchase additional items you may need such as reef shoes and reef safe sunscreen.<br /><br />Please note, our home is in a tropical climate. Hawaii Island is home to a variety of tropical bugs and geckos. Keeping food items in sealed containers or in the fridge will help keep the bugs away.<br /><br />At night, coqui frogs can sound like loud chirping birds and are usually hiding in the greenery outside.
