Get off the beaten path and stay in our ocean-view guesthouse on an organic farm in Kealakekua, South Kona. This is real paradise!
Private and clean and without any crowds, this is “Old-Hawaii” peaceful country without traffic noises and with easy access to beaches, and Kona town. You’ll love waking up to the birds and the ocean view as you sip a cup of coffee on the lanai. Enjoy a taste of Hawaii with seasonal fruit all year round and our freshly-roasted estate coffee.

The space
This organic farm guesthouse is fully stocked for "home away from home" convenience. We provide all the necessary amenities for cooking, relaxing or beach.

On the slopes between Hualalai and Mauna Loa Volcanos, our 2.5 acre farm is a 20 min drive to Kailua Kona, the beaches of Kealakekua Bay and walking distance to the shops in Kealakekua, but when you're on the farm, you will think you are in the middle of the country. This property is a Hidden Gem of “Old Hawaii.”

Internet updates 2024: we have Starlink internet so the previous slow internet issues have been resolved.

Guest access
The house has all the amenities, with a grill outside and full cooking amenities. You'll have complete privacy.

Two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and
the third bed is a twin-sized hide-a-bed in the living room. It is a small living room, so you’ll want to store the bed away during the day. We welcome a party of 5 that is a family with three kids that just needs an extra sleeping space.

We have a washer dryer you can use for an additional fee. A farm tour is available if you let us know as soon as you arrive. Enjoy freshly-picked seasonal fruit and our farm-grown coffee year round with your breakfast!

Other things to note
This is the tropics and we are surrounded by lush and beautiful flora and fauna. The rainy season here on the Kona-side is from April to November. During this time of year, it is usually sunny or overcast during the day and there will be rain showers in the afternoon/evening most days. It will occasionally rain all day during the rainy season but not regularly. The dry season from Nov-April is sunny and warm with cool evenings and occasional rain showers.

We are at 1300ft elevation, so it is 7-10 degrees (fahrenheit) cooler at our place than in town which makes for very comfortable sleeping at night and no air conditioning needed. During the winter, it will be cool enough in the evenings for a lightweight sweatshirt or jacket.

At night, we enjoy the soothing sounds of the crickets and coqui frogs. During the early morning, we are serenaded by song birds. We don’t usually have roosters thanks to our farm cats, but as they are wild animals, they could come and go. Many people find these night noises soothing like a sound machine. Keeping the windows closed will usually make it very quiet, and the especially sensitive sleeper may want to bring ear plugs.

We will send you a message with arrival info the week before your trip. Please check your Airbnb App to be certain you have received it including the driving directions and door code. With good communication prior to your trip, we hope to help make your stay as smooth as possible.

Registration Details
TA-120-448-7168-01
