This serene oceanfront retreat is located along the Kaanapali coast, less than 50' from the crashing waves. The unit offers a whole lot of Aloha, with unobstructed views of an expansive crystal blue/green ocean, swaying palm trees, adjacent islands, starry skies and sea life (sea turtles and monk seals all year long, migrating humpback whales from late Dec through April). The interior is clean, nicely appointed, & has lots of amenities to make your stay comfortable & enjoyable.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />The unit is appointed with very nice furniture and artwork, comfortable king size bed, smart TV, beach equipment (chairs,umbrella, ice cooler) and many other amenities. The kitchen includes coffee makers (drip + Keurig), toaster, blender, microwave oven and dishwasher in addition to a full range/oven and refrigerator. Air conditioning was installed in Aug 2024. <br /><br />Dine out under the sun and stars on your private top floor lanai with stunning panoramic views of the ocean and islands of Lana'i and Moloka'i. Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, you are still close to beautiful beaches, snorkeling, coastal hiking trails, grocery and convenience stores. Walk or take a short drive to many local restaurants and eateries like Duke’s, Hula Grill, Monkeypod, Leilani’s at the Beach, Kihei Caffe, Moku Roots, Miso Phat, Merriman’s, Seahouse, Gazebo, Castaway, Fish Market, Slappy Cakes, Java Jazz, Okazuya, Honoapiilani Food Truck Park, and more. <br /><br />Parking is plentiful and free. Luggage carts are available near the front office. Two elevators, in addition to wide open stairs, take you up to the top 4th floor unit. An outdoor kitchen with three gas ranges allow you to grill your meals then back up to the lanai to dine alfresco. There is a lush tropical atrium garden & koi pond located in the center of the complex. A greenbelt by the ocean provides many lawn chairs to soak up the sun, take a well deserved nap, or just sit back, read a good book, and take in the scenery.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Please note that this is a short term rental, so daily maid service is not provided like it is with a traditional hotel. Should you desire maid service during your stay, that should be arranged with the host prior to your arrival. Maid service during your stay will be an additional fee and not part of the cleaning fee shown in your booking.<br /><br />We have a video/audio security camera mounted outside/above the front door. It is turned on during check-in and check-out days to verify safe arrival/departure of guests, and to assist guests with any unit access issues (e.g. digital code entry/physical key access). <br /><br />We are honored to donate 5% of our profits to Make-a -Wish in Hawaii.
