Welcome to The Pacifica Inn located in Volcano on the Big Island of Hawai’i. The Pacifica Inn is a special little place out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where you can experience peacefulness and tranquility. Come and enjoy the beautiful Hapu’u trees and the Anthurium flowers that surround the property. Relax and enjoy the sounds of endemic birds and their melodies while the Coqui frogs sing at night. <br />We don’t do luxury at The Pacifica Inn, we do Hawai’i!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />The Pacifica Inn is located in the beautiful Mauna Loa Estates just one mile from the town of Volcano. In Volcano you will find restaurants and shops to enjoy during your stay. The Hawai’i National Park is only about five minutes away. This makes the Pacifica Inn a perfect location after a long day of experiencing the best of what Hawaii has to offer. The Hilo International Airport is 40 minutes away and renting a vehicle is the best way for transportation around the Big Island. <br />The Pacifica Inn is located in Volcano which is in a high altitude of 4,000 feet.<br />Volcano is very tropical and rain can fall at anytime during the day or night. We recommend bringing rain gear.<br />The temperatures can get cold at night so we highly recommend you pack warm clothes along with your swimsuits. <br />*The water is NOT CONSUMABLE and we recommend guests bring their own drinking water during their stay. We appreciate your interest in the Pacifica Inn we look forward to hosting you and being part of your journey.<br /> <br /> *THE SPACE<br />This cozy room offers one queen size bed that will comfortably sleep 1-2 guests. Cot can be provided with a mattress allowing for 1-3 guests with 48 hour prior notice. On cold nights, warm up with an extra cozy blanket or simply use the built-in heater. Set a peaceful mood at night by turning on the landscape light and enjoy the panoramic views of the tropical forest. <br /><br />All of our are private and not shared with other guests. <br /><br />As your host, we offer free, fast, and reliable internet as well as a smart TV for your entertainment needs.<br /><br />The studio has a full bathroom supplied with simple toiletries:<br />-Shampoo<br />-Conditioner<br />-Body Wash<br />-Hand Soap<br />-First Aid Kit<br />-Hair Dryer<br /><br />The kitchenette is equipped with a<br />-Mini fridge with a mini freezer<br />-Microwave<br />-Toaster <br />-Mini Keurig coffee maker<br />-Utensils and two mini plates<br />-Two bowls <br />-Two coffee mugs and two drinking glasses<br />-Complimentary coffee, sugar and creamer<br /><br />Parking-<br />There is free parking on the premises, limited to one vehicle per rented room. Parking is for guests only.<br />During the day visitors are welcome to park on the street. Due to Mauna Loa Estates community rules over night parking for visitors is not allowed on the street.<br /><br />GUEST ACCESS:<br />Guests can enjoy their own private quarters in the (The Nene Room) and the shared outdoor spaces. This will include the parking area, driveway, forested yard, and trails. <br /><br />*The hot tub is currently off limits to all guests! Please do not go to the hot tub area for your safety it is under repair.<br /><br />Please remind and ensure that kids and other guests limit themselves to these designated areas and respect these boundaries, allowing privacy for the other guests.<br /><br />THE NEIGHBORHOOD:<br />Here, you will be able to go out on an early morning stroll or jog. It's such a great way to take in the community. <br /> <br />GUEST INTERACTION:<br />Host is available through the Airbnb inbox or by phone/text.<br />Late check-ins are allowed. It is self-check in. There is no front desk for checking in. <br />You’re welcome to check in at anytime. If you are checking in after 10PM HST time please kindly keep noise level low for the other guests.<br /><br /> Early check-ins/late check-outs are not always guaranteed, but we will try to accommodate this request as best as we can. <br /><br />Please don't hesitate to contact the host for any needs or concerns that may arise during your stay. We want you to have an enjoyable experience during your stay at The Pacifica Inn.<br /><br />OTHER NOTES:<br />The best way to get around on the Big Island is a vehicle. Buses are an option. You can find the Hele-on bus schedule on Hawaii County website.
