Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea. Lehua Volcano Retreat offers many luxury features like fully adjustable beds that raise up for reading, etc., heated bidets in every bathroom, Heat and A/C, dehumidifier, full laundry room with washer, dryer and detergent, individual dimmable reading lights at each bedside, indoor and outdoor dining and more. We feature high-quality mattresses and pillows with special allergen proof mattress and pillow covers. We use high quality soft cotton linens for an excellent nights sleep. Enjoy<br /><br />We are conveniently located only 8 minutes to the front gate of Volcanoes National Park! We are only about 30 minutes from Downtown Hilo and the best swimmable beaches! You can't beat this central location. The house is very well insulated and stays about 72 degrees in the house year round. We are surrounded by a beautiful, lush rainforest with giant ferns!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests have access to every part of the house and property. There are no shared spaces.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />All of the Big Island is rural and therefore can have the sounds of coqui frogs, dogs and roosters (they are wild throughout Hawaii) at night.<br /><br />House Rules:<br />No Parties or Events allowed. No outside guests. No visitors. No one is allowed on the property except the guests on the original booking. Quiet hours per local laws are 9pm to 7am. Our entire property is a non-smoking environment. If you need to smoke, please smoke outside the fenced-in area in front of the gate by the street only and dispose of your cigarettes afterward in the trash can. Please take care of the furnishings. Do not move any of the furniture or rocks on the property. Please turn the Air Conditioning off when you leave and when you are not using it. Hawaii has the highest electricity rates in the country, so please help with this! Please do not touch the second gate. For your safety and security we have 24 hour security and one (1) camera on the property facing the outside perimeter of the house so we can see if any unauthorized people enter the property. No cameras face the interior of the house. There are no cameras inside the house. Tampering with or shutting off the security cameras is not allowed and can end your reservation. Violation of any of the above that results in additional costs will be billed to the guests, including but not limited to: noise complaint fines, excessive cleaning services, repair costs for damaged items. Guests agree to pay additional fees within 72 hours of checkout. Please note that we expect all guests to follow all rules at all times. We are willing to enforce all rules up to and including ending the reservation.
