This beautiful ground-floor suite in Kailua-Kona is your personal slice of Hawaii — breezy, bright, and designed for guests who want comfort without compromise.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />THE SPACE…<br />Two bedrooms (king + queen) with air conditioning and exceptionally comfortable beds, ocean view living and dining areas, and a fully equipped kitchen mean you have everything you need after a day exploring the island. <br /><br />Step outside to the large deck with a saltwater pool and some of the most dramatic ocean views in Kona — 500 feet above sea level, so you get the panorama & trade winds.<br /><br />THE LOCATION…<br />Six minutes to downtown Kailua-Kona and close to everything that makes the Big Island special: world-class snorkeling and diving, Kona coffee farms, volcanic landscapes, white and black sand beaches, and great local restaurants. Plus, take in the incredible ocean view on the large shared deck with saltwater pool.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />This rental is part of our family home, and we live upstairs. You’ll have your own private entrance and space while we’re nearby if you need anything. Like any lived-in home, you may occasionally hear everyday sounds: us moving around upstairs , lawn maintenance on weekdays, or the Friday trash truck. We think it adds to the authentic ohana feel. <br /><br />To keep the bedrooms cool and comfortable, we have split-unit AC in each room + a separate AC in living area. We just ask that you switch the AC off when you leave the property to help us keep things running smoothly.<br /><br />We’re proud to keep the home as clean and pest-free as possible with monthly professional treatments. That said, Hawaii’s tropical environment means the occasional gecko or small insect may find their way in - especially if lights are left on or food is left out. Keeping food in the fridge and wiping counters after meals goes a long way, and most guests find these little island visitors more charming than bothersome!<br /><br />This is a non-smoking property.
