The house itself is quite secluded, the house on one side is vacant, and the other way has a stretch of beach that's quite close to the road (with little or no roadside parking), and not much foot traffic (especially close to the house). It was very quiet except the sound of the surf, and some road noise (though we found this minimal). The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nicely appointed with the softest towels ever!! We were very impressed with the house and the beds and there were TV's at each bed and in the living area of the house (though we barely used them). The ouside space is where the house really exceeds expectations all around. The kitchen is gorgeous and well appointed with granite countertops and super spacious prep areas. There are 2 eating areas with comfortable seats, and a view of the ocean from every part of the kitchen/outdoor living area. We didn't find that there were really many bugs on the counters despite it being outside, but we are very clean and never left anything sitting out either. Absolutely loved spending time outside, and in fact that's where we spent most of our time. There are a few grassy areas to sit in the sun if that's your wish, and plenty of shade to keep out of the sun. There is a small rocky pebble beach just down the stairs where there were often turtles sun bathing throughout the day (this was quite a thrill). There were turtles around most of the day, either in the water or on the beach, it was fun to watch them feed. The water is a beautiful turquoise blue with plenty of rocks and coral for pretty spectacular snorkeling literally right outside your door. Getting into the water was a bit of a challenge, but once we got used to our entry point, it was very easy. There is a crescent shaped bit of rock close to the house but towards the road with a flat spot in the middle (towards the house side), if you watch the waves and see where it is, it's the easiest entry point. We spent endless hours swimming and snorkeling here without anyone else around, we had the whole bay to ourselves most of the time. There are a lot of fish in the water here, and I even saw an octopus!! There is also a really cool sheltered pond/pool out towards the water to the right of the house that was fun to float in (would especially be great for kids to play in). Durable water shoes are an absolute must<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests will be given the codes to the entry gate and home.
