Your dream vacation starts here!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Our home is perfect for family vacations with its six living and entertaining areas and is conveniently located within driving distance of central Kona!<br />★ Downtown Kona and Restaurants: 4-6 min<br />★ Magic Sands Beach: 6 min<br />★ Kahalu'u Beach: 7 min<br />★ Kua Bay Beach: 20 min <br />★ Costco: 12 min<br />★ Target: 9 min<br />★ Walmart: 7 min<br />★ Kona Airport (KOA): 15 min<br /><br />In addition to the pool and hot tub in the gated front yard, on the main level you will find the living room and a fully equipped kitchen. A great feature of the home is the very large, covered lanai with its living and dining areas where you can watch the famous Kona sunsets, breaching whales in the winter, and parasailers all year long. The house is close enough to the water that you can hear large surf in the early morning and will lull you to sleep at night.<br /><br />Spacious guest rooms are found in the home with the following sleeping arrangements:<br /><br />Main level Guest room 1: King size bed<br />Main level Guest room 2: Queen size bed<br />Main level Guest room 3: Bunkbed and pull-out trundle with four twin size beds<br />Downstairs Guest room 4: King size bed<br />Downstairs Guest room 5: Two Queen size beds<br /><br />Split-zoned A/C units are available in bedrooms along with ceiling fans in every bedroom and living area help carry the already cooling breezes from the ocean. Guests will appreciate the short drive to downtown Kailua-Kona where outdoor dining, ocean adventures, and beautiful beaches await!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Our entire home is available for your private use during your stay.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />★ Locals (Hawaiian Islands residents) must get approval from listing host prior to booking.<br />★ Out of respect for our neighbors, we are unable to host weddings, receptions, or any events that include amplified music or live instruments.<br />- County mandated quiet hours are 9pm to 8am. Our front and backyards are equipped with noise monitors and we ask that guests respect our peaceful neighborhood and not disturb adjacent neighbors.<br />- We strongly encourage all travelers to purchase travel insurance to ensure protection in the event you feel the need to cancel for any reason.<br />- Our home is located on a lush tropical island. As part of this natural environment, you may encounter local wildlife, such as geckos, insects, cockroaches, or the occasional tree frog serenade. These are a normal part of life in paradise and contribute to the unique charm of staying in such a vibrant ecosystem. While we take care to maintain a clean and comfortable space with quarterly professional pest control, we appreciate your understanding of the island's natural surroundings.<br />- Our property is maintained weekly by professional landscapers and pool cleaners.
