The Trade Wind Home is located at a perfect 1,415 feet elevation. Sunny during the day and cool at night. Most of the rooms have portable air conditioning, but you may not need them during the cooler months. <br />Conveniently located 3 miles away from the Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport (KOA), we are also 10 miles from the heart of Kailua-Kona town to the South, and 10 miles from amazing white sand beaches to the North.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />The house is a duplex with outdoor stair access connecting the two separate living spaces, for a combined 2,653 sq. ft. total on an 11,000 sq. ft. spacious property. Our 6 bedrooms, 2 full kitchens and 3 bathrooms are a perfect location / house for group reunions, weddings, and many other activities.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Extra amenities include :<br /><br />Beds : a Queen size pull out sofa-bed (1sr floor living room) and a Queen size air mattress.<br /><br />kitchen : coffee/ K-cup coffee maker, rice cooker, pressure cooker, blender and extra large pots.<br /><br />Beach : beach towels, chairs, snorkeling gear and body boards.<br /><br />Baby/toddler : a high chair, a playpen, plastic cups and plates.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Disclaimer : This is my Hawaiian home, where I spend time periodically throughout the year. While none of personal items are in any of the guest bedrooms, I do have some personal items in locked pantry/dresser on the 1st floor.
