We wish to welcome you to our 5-bedroom Auntie Anne's hale (house) at the end of the cul-de-sac, convenient to Kailua-Kona town (2 miles). The only bathroom with a tub in all our listings. With a paved jogging path next door, kitchen facilities, full laundry (small fee), three dining sunset view options, fruit trees, fish pond and native plantings-this special place is close to everything with easy access to main highways, making it easy to plan your visit.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />We wish to welcome you to Auntie Anne’s Hale (house), w/ 5 different rooms to choose from, plus an extra ground floor "tree house" (fully insulated and screened for the adventurous young or young at heart). Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, 2 miles from Kailua-Kona town at 800-foot elev. our hale experiences cooling sea breezes. With a paved jogging path next door, kitchen facilities, full laundry (small fee), three dining options (al fresco and enclosed) with sunset views, native plantings including fruit trees and vines, small glass walled fishpond and large covered gazebo (204 sq. ft.) to relax and party in. Close to main highways, making it easy to connect to all attractions; renowned Magic Sands Beach, Kahalu'u Beach Park [for snorkeling amateurs], Two Step [for scuba diving], the Ironman starting point and our famous volcanoes. <br /><br />We have 4 rooms available private rooms, one with a Cal King mattress, 3 with queen mattresses.<br /><br />Rm 1 - Hibiscus Room (accommodates 2), with a modern private attached bathroom.<br /><br />Rm 2 - Orchid Room, (accommodates 2), with a private unattached full bathroom. <br /><br />Rm 3 - Plumeria Room (accommodates 2), has an al fresco sitting area with a small unattached private restroom w/shower. <br /><br />Rm 4 - Pacific View room (accommodates 4) has a private attached bathroom with ensuite TV/work area w/mini-kitchen.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests may access all community spaces of the hale. Guests may only use the restroom assigned to them. Guests may only smoke at the designated covered smoking area table.<br /><br /><b>During your stay</b><br />Aloha, I am John. I tend to give guests their own space, but any guest is free to talk w/me about anything. However, feel free to contact me through all means of communication for any questions.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Please practice the Hawaiian tradition of no shoes in the house (unless you bring your indoor slippers).<br /><br />Please smoke only in the designated area (the outdoor dining table with the green umbrella. Smoking inside of any room or facilities is prohibited.<br />We live in the natural world of Hawaii so you might see a lost wee bug in the house. Just let us know and we'll show them out.<br /><br />Please use the bathroom assigned to your room.<br /><br />All rooms have locks on doors.<br /><br />Not equipped for the handicapped.
