Private quiet room with 2 single beds for max 2 person in a 4 bed-room house close to town in a quiet residential area of Kona. Just one intersection south of Henry Street, close to shops, markets, restaurants and beaches (25 min walk).<br /><br />Free street parking. Shared bath room, mini fridge, coffee maker, hot water kettle and mini oven for guests outside of the room. Kitchen cooking not allowed.<br /><br />The host is a "Food as medicine" cook and you may request meals with additional fee when available.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Our house is located in Kailua View Estates, 1 intersection south of Henry street, the center of Kona, close to everything. Great view of the ocean and Kona from our terrace and spacious backyard/garden on property. You have a room to yourself, with shared bath room with another guest if any. You can walk to famous Alii Drive and beach (25 min walk).<br /><br />We enjoy morning walk and have coffee at Water Front Row on Alii Drive. Join us if you like to learn about what we do for optimal health (we are health consultants based on Japanese traditional medicine).<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You can use your bedroom and a shared bath room, guest fridge and vanity. No cooking (please ask if you need). You may use living room and dining room space if not being used, go ahead and ask. Go ahead and check the backyard and terrace during the daytime.<br /><br />Internet (WIFI) is free<br />Washer/dryer $2 each time separately. <br /><br />Sharing a house with the host family, 3-4 people, sometimes only 1 as they go back to Japan a lot, who are out most of the day time.<br /><br /><b>During your stay</b><br />Feel free to interact and say hello! If not we respect your privacy.<br /><br />Yumi (one of the owners) is a cook of healthy macrobiotic and Japanese immune power boosting cooking and have a special talent to create a meal that is healing for each person as well as keep you in better shape. 4-5 courses Dinner/Lunch can be arranged upon request.<br /><br />Gen is a Japanese traditional medicine practitioner and can be your health consultant if you have any physical and/or mental condition you would like to improve. <br /><br />We also do special customized tours when available around the island.
