Bonus basement (second living room) with two futon beds and a 5th bonus room with a queen bed. <br /><br />IMPORTANT: Outdoor & Indoor living - the common areas (kitchen & living room) open outside to the exterior wrapping around the pool. Dining table is outdoor next to the pool. Experience the unique Hawaiian outdoor/indoor living at its best! Bedrooms are fully closed, but the rest of the house opens to the outdoor. Our guests love this unique layout but it may not be for those who does not like that the common areas open to the outdoor so please make sure you are comfortable before booking! <br /><br />Living room w/ comfortable tropical furniture is open to the kitchen with 2 large islands and fully equipped for many cooks. Kitchen has access to secluded backyard with hot tub and grill and pool lanai with 180 ocean view. WIFI, TV's & ceiling fans in all bedrooms & living room. Utility room with washer, dryer. The house is a blend of indoor/outdoor living at its best. <br /><br />Garage has beach gear like umbrellas, chairs. Pool towels and pool toys are also near the pool.<br /><br />Safe, serene family-friendly neighborhood. The house is situated in an very quiet, upscale, neighborhood close to the Walua trail - 3 mile jogging/walking trail (no tourist traffic or noise). The backyard is private, level and good for games.<br /><br />Situate only 2 miles to Keauhou shopping center (a Farmers Market every Sat morning), Kona Golf Course and Magic Sands Beach. Kona Town is 10 minutes away. Costco is 20 min, Safeway is 7 min, airport is 15 min.<br /><br /><br />Further Description:<br /><br />1) The large master bedroom on the main level, features a comfortable king bed, rattan tropical furniture, jetted tub, skylight and double person shower with view to the secluded backyard . This bedroom has 2 sliding glass doors to pool lanai and door to backyard.<br /><br />2) Three identical large bedrooms are also on main level, all with king size comfortable beds and their own full bathrooms. They are also situated around the pool and lanai with a slider and door each, which gives you total seclusion. Bonus family room with two futon beds & private bedroom with queen bed for extra sleeping. All come equipped ceiling fans, tv and WIFI. Working desks are in one bedroom and the basement.<br /><br />3) You are supplied linens, towels and beach towels. Soaps, toilet paper and paper towels are supplied to get you started. We also supply beach chairs, cooler, mats, pool toys. There are hair dryers in every bathroom.<br /><br />4) The large kitchen features two islands, skylight, ceiling fan and is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining. There is a gas BBQ in back yard on lanai with dinning table and chairs. The sunken living room, which faces the private backyard features cathedral ceilings, bamboo furniture, TV, and a fountain in entry. There is a door from kitchen to hallway accessing the pool lanai, but there is no closable door from pool lanai (outside) to hallway which gives you that very open feeling- the Hawaiian way.<br /><br />5) The secluded back yard has an outdoor shower. The back yard is large enough for outdoor games and patio for barbecuing.<br /><br />6) There is a large utility room with washer and dryer.<br /><br />7) There are plenty of parking spaces onsite, enough for at least 5 cars.<br /><br />Why We’re Awesome?<br /><br />1) Keauhou Bay offers early morning kayaking every Mon, Wed and Fri. Often you can swim with the dolphins, and see whales 20' away.<br /><br />2) Tropical breezes, with fragrant smells float through the air and you can often smell Kona coffee roasting in nearby orchards.<br /><br />3) Wake up to the birds chirping outside your window and the heavenly tropical smells wafting through the air.<br /><br />Permits & Registration: <br />STVR-19-360746, TA-124-131-5840-01, GE-124-131-5840-01<br />*To protect your Hawaii bookings, make sure you book legal and registered short-term vacation homes.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />There is plenty of parking, enough for at least 3 cars in the private driveway and more on the street in front of the house/pool!<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Good Neighbor Policy:<br /><br />(a) Quiet hours shall be from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise from the home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors.<br /><br />(b) Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.<br /><br />Housekeeping Items:<br /><br />1) The house has a very 'open layout concept' leading to outdoor tropical living, and windows, shades should be left open to allow the optimal wind and ocean flow through the house and various rooms. As the house is open and airy, if you leave dirty dishes and food lying around, it may attract ants, mice, mongoose, birds and rats. We have professional monthly interior and exterior pest control maintenance but also need your help to stay clear! The open concept allows the occasional native critters (like gecko) to pay guests an occasional visit.<br /><br />2) There are no AC. The house is situated on higher elevations - open the slider doors for cool ocean breeze to flow through the bedrooms. There are ceiling fans and numerous portable fans throughout the house to keep cool.<br /><br />3) There is NO fence around the pool. Please do not leave toddlers and kids unsupervised.<br /><br />4) For security purposes, we do have exterior cameras (pool/hot tub, external grounds). We do not hide their positions and they are in very visible locations.<br /><br />5) We will send across a short-term vacation rules & contract for all adults to sign. Please be on the lookout for this.<br /><br />6) Complementary supplies: Guests are provided 2 rolls of toilet paper per toilet, 2 rolls of paper towel, some laundry soap/shampoo to get your vacation started. It is your responsibility to provide yourselves with these items when the complimentary supplies we provide are depleted. <br /><br />7) In order to get accurate pricing, please enter the correct number of adults and children.
