Welcome to our home! We are one of the few homes that have A/C!! With beaches and the slopes at just minutes away, our 5-bed, 2.5-bath home is perfect for outdoor adventure. Catch some sun on Kings Beach or Sand Harbor Beach, choose to hit the slopes at Tahoe Palisades or Northstar, or explore the bars, restaurants, and casinos in Incline Village. Return home to kick back on the furnished deck or curl up with inside with your favorite warm drink. <br />Come spend time with us (your pup too!)<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Our home features: Smart TVs, Central Heat & A/C (rare!!!), loft/play area, dining room for 8 people, bartop for 4 people, 2 remote workspaces (including printer and monitor), board & kids games, DVD player, ceiling fans, hammock, outdoor seating & dining w/gas grill (propane provided), outdoor gas fire pit, enclosed back yard (also rare!), garage access, modern decor with a mountain feel.<br /><br />Like to cook? Our kitchen is fully equipped, and features a breakfast bar w/ seating for 4 people,all stainless steel appliances, cooking basics (pot & pans), basic spices & cooking oil, dishware & flatware, toaster, microwave, drip coffee maker, tea kettle.<br /><br />Parking: Garage (1 vehicle only) plus 2 additional vehicles in driveway.<br /><br />Recent pandemic prompted us to add air purifier with UV light as well. <br /><br />More details: Free WiFi, ground coffee, tea, starter amount of sugar for coffee, washer/dryer, fresh towels/linens at check-in, starter pack of complimentary toiletries & basics (toilet paper, facial tissue, air freshener, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, few trash bags, kitchen sponge) hair dryer.<br /><br />Want the shopping completed and in the home before you arrive? Let us know and we can accommodate!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You will have the entire cabin to yourself. We have electronic locks for entry into the cabin. The codes for the locks will be emailed to you prior to your arrival (morning of check-in).<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />If you are visiting us in the winter to enjoy beautiful white snow, please note that we are in mountain country at 6500' in elevation. It does snow here between the months of October and April (sometimes a lot!). We strictly follow our cancellation policy, and are unable to offer refunds for last minute cancellations due to weather conditions or road closures. We highly recommend getting travel insurance to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstances/issues that may arise. We will fully cooperate with travel insurance claims in this event. We are only able to waive this policy in the event of a "State of Emergency" from Washoe County only! We are not in California and are not subjected to their "State of Emergency" that may be in the neighboring area.<br /><br />Also please note that as we never know how much snowfall is going to come and the inversion layers (weather patterns) that tend to hang around, we don’t not keep the bbq and fire pit operational during the months of November - mid April. It can either cause safety concerns and/or create a smoke filled layer in the community that does not dissipate as bbq smoke typically does. Apologies for any inconveniences this may cause and thank you for your understanding in the matter.<br /><br />Pets: There is a 2 pet maximum with a $100 pet fee for each pet per stay. This helps us to maintain a pet friendly home for our guests enjoyment with their furry companions.<br /><br />Wildlife: <br />Please understand that the house is in the woods. You may see or encounter wildlife while in our home or neighborhood. This includes squirrels, chipmunks, deer, bears, coyotes, mice, birds, spiders, bees, wasps and ants, to name a few. These creatures reside in nature and we have no control over them, therefore we will not refund if you encounter them during your stay.
