Welcome to our cozy mountain-side retreat. Our 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment is on the first floor of our family home in the beautiful Maunalani Heights neighborhood in Kaimuki. You'll have your own entrance and a small outdoor seating area with a fantastic view of Diamond Head.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Inside, we've recently spruced up the space. There's a full kitchen with all the cooking essentials and your very own washer and dryer. We have two AC units, one in the living room and another in the master bedroom, but most of the time, you can enjoy the cool breeze from the open windows, thanks to the refreshing trade winds.<br /><br />Both bedrooms feature comfy queen-sized beds, and we've got you covered for entertainment with streaming, Netflix and Wi-Fi. Sip your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine on the outdoor sitting area, which offers a sweet view of Diamond Head Crater.<br /><br />Our home is just a 5-minute stroll to Kaimuki town, where you can explore artsy shops, delightful restaurants, bars, and cozy coffee shops. We're a family-friendly place and can accommodate up to four guests, including children. Experience life outside of Waikiki, right where the locals live.<br /><br />Street parking in the area is easy and convenient. Kahala Mall, the East side's largest shopping center, is less than a mile away, with great dining, entertainment, food and Oahu's first Whole Foods market.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You'll have a private entrance and a lanai for your use. Street parking is easy to find in our neighborhood, and you're welcome to use the snacks, kitchen supplies, beach towels, sunscreen, snorkeling gear, bocce ball, and cooler we've provided for your convenience.<br /><br />Please note that while your unit is entirely private, you might hear some typical family noises from upstairs. We usually turn in early and expect things to quiet down after 10 pm. Please help us conserve energy by turning off lights, fans, AC, and cooking appliances when you're not using them.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />We're grateful for your stay and hope you enjoy the comfort and vibe of our unique local neighborhood.
