In Hawaiian, Moe means "dream" and Ohana means "family" and here, we welcome you like ohana, whether you're seeking rest, reconnection, or adventure.<br /><br />This bright and spacious private room is part of our home, created with care to offer both comfort and calm, offering a restful experience with your own private bedroom and ensuite bathroom. You’ll enter through the main front door, with the option to use the back door for added privacy and flexibility. The room features large windows that fill the space with natural light, a comfortable queen-sized bed with 100% cotton sheets and a 100% linen duvet cover, for a cozy night's rest. We’ve also included an open closet with hangers, and a wicker storage basket to keep your things organized and easy to reach.<br /><br />You’ll also have a dedicated desk with fast Wi-Fi. A tower fan and screened windows provide excellent ventilation and natural airflow, to enjoy natural breezes flowing through. In Hilo’s cooler breezy evenings, we personally find that the island’s fresh and cooler nights air provides better comfort than air conditioning.<br /><br />Your private ensuite bathroom is bright, clean, and fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soft towels, and a hair dryer. You’ll also find a laundry basket in the room, and if you'd like to wash clothes during your stay, we’re happy to help. A vapor iron is available upon request.<br /><br />Just beyond your room, you’ll find a shared tropical backyard, a peaceful green space perfect for starting your day with a cup of coffee or ending it with a quiet dinner surrounded by the colors of the sunset. One of the treasures of this space is our Puakenikeni tree, which releases a fragrance reminiscent of jasmine and gardenia, enveloping the evening air in a sweet, tropical embrace. <br /><br />As you enter the home, you’ll pass through our open indoor space, where we practice yoga and stretching. You’re welcome to use this area anytime. <br /><br />While MoeʻOhana is part of our family home, guests enjoy complete privacy in their room and bathroom.
