Just 1.5 blocks away from the famous Painted Ladies, this charming Victorian is thoroughly San Francisco with modern amenities. <br /><br />The home was originally built by the Singer family (yes, the sewing machines!) in the late 1800's, and I have loved making updates while preserving its character. <br /><br />I travel a lot for work and love sharing my home and this city when I'm away. You will instantly feel a part of San Francisco while you're here.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This home is on the ground floor of a three-floor Victorian building. You'll have access to the whole home, which includes three bedrooms: the primary with a King bed, the guest bedroom with a Queen bed, and the third used as an office (however, there is an extra air mattress if you really wanted to sleep an extra 1-2 people). <br /><br />Feel free to use the Peloton bike while you're here, as well as work remotely if needed with high-speed internet. The parlor (living room) has two sitting areas, a fireplace, and TV. And the dining room opens up to a lovely garden that was once featured in Sunset Magazine. Original architectural details are throughout.<br /><br />Down the street to the right is Hayes Valley, filled with coffee shops, boutique stores, and restaurants. To the left is Alamo Square Park, where you can see the Painted Ladies (postcard row). Keep going and you'll hit the Divisadero corridor, with more restaurants and shops, and Bi-Rite market, where you can pick up some locally grown/made groceries, or grab a handmade sandwich to enjoy at the park. Last, if you head south a few blocks, you can explore the famous Haight Street.
