The remodeled kitchen includes modern appliances and everything needed for cooking after a day on the slopes or trails. A gas stove adds a cozy alpine atmosphere, while large windows and outdoor spaces bring in natural light and mountain views.<br /><br />Enjoy your morning coffee on the sunny wraparound deck or unwind in the private outdoor patio and garden area. Prior to your arrival, you’ll receive a unique door code along with detailed check-in instructions. Guests can access the home anytime after check-in using the electronic keypad located at the front entrance — no keys or in-person meetup required. The code will remain active for the duration of your stay for easy and secure access.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Mountain Environment<br />Our home is located in a rural mountain setting. You may encounter wildlife, insects, uneven terrain, and limited cell service depending on your carrier. While we do our best to maintain the property, nature is part of the experience.<br /><br />Winter Weather, Ice & Road Conditions<br />During the winter months, snow, ice, and rapidly changing weather conditions are common. Surfaces including driveways, walkways, decks, and stairs may become icy and slippery, creating a risk of slips and falls. Roads may be steep, narrow, or unpaved, and may not always be immediately cleared. Guests are responsible for checking weather forecasts and road conditions prior to arrival and during their stay. A 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle, snow chains, and winter driving experience may be required.<br /><br />Power Outages & Utilities<br />Mountain areas are more prone to occasional power outages, especially during storms or high winds. While outages are typically resolved as quickly as possible by the utility company, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We provide basic emergency supplies, but guests should be prepared for temporary disruptions to electricity, heating, water, and internet.<br /><br />Limited Services<br />Due to our remote location, services such as grocery delivery, emergency response times, and maintenance support may be delayed compared to city areas.<br /><br />Guest Responsibility<br />By booking, you acknowledge these conditions and accept responsibility for preparing accordingly. Please use caution when walking outdoors in winter conditions and wear appropriate footwear with good traction. We strongly recommend bringing appropriate clothing, food supplies, and any essentials you may need during your stay.<br /><br />Wildlife & Bear Safety<br />Bears are in the area!. While sightings are not guaranteed, bears and other wildlife do occasionally pass through the neighborhood. To help keep both guests and wildlife safe, please do not leave any food, trash, or scented items outside or in your vehicle. Always keep car doors locked and dispose of garbage in designated bear-resistant containers. If you encounter a bear, please keep a safe distance and do not approach or feed it.
