Be right in the middle of the hippest in San Francisco!<br />1 California King, 1 Queen, 2 full sized beds, 2 full bathrooms and 2 kitchens make this your perfect home base for your summer in the Mission District. <br /><br />Right off of the most popular part of Valencia Street you don't need to travel far to find some of the greatest sights and scenes that SF has to offer.<br /><br />If you want to see other parts of SF it's very easy to get transportation to other popular areas too.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Older building built in 1906, right after the earthquake. You can see the top of salesforce tower from the back window and you can see the top of Sutro tower from the front bedroom.<br /><br />There are 4 units in the building and this is the one on the top floor on the north side of the building. All the other units in the building are occupied by owners of the building and they all work in the morning so it's not a good place for a party or a place to make a lot of noise. <br /><br />Even though there is enough beds to sleep 8 people, the space would seem very crowded with so many people staying there. 4 - 6 people would probably be a more comfortable number of people. I know that many people who visit done really do anything here other than sleep so I still do allow 8 people to stay here if that's your desire. Please note that it will be very very crowded with that many people there.<br /><br />There is a great room that contains the kitchen and living area. There is enough couch space for 8 people to sit. There is also an elevated kitchen counter in the kitchen that can seat 3-4 more people. This room also contains a California King size wall bed that can fold up out of the way during the day. Additionally, it also contains a desk that can unfold from the wall to reveal an office area. The people who sleep in this room will have less privacy than the ones who stay in one of the dedicated bedrooms since there is no door (there is a privacy screen). This room gets a lot of light in the morning as well due to 2 skylights and eastern facing windows. The unit also contains a kitchenette on the other side of the house so that there is another kitchen available when people are sleeping in the great room. <br /><br />There is also a folding table and chairs that can fit 6 people around it as long as you use one of the couches too seat 2 people.<br /><br />The larger bedroom overlooks the street and contains a queen sized bed as well as a couch that can be converted into a full sized bed. This bedroom can get a lot of afternoon light. There is also a table that can fold out from the wall and space to hang your clothing.<br /><br />The smaller bedroom has a full sized bed, a large dresser, and a rack to hang your clothing. Also, a window and a skylight provide a good amount of natural light. There is also a small desk near the window.<br /><br />Both bathrooms are small. One contains a bathtub while the other contains a stand up shower.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />I'll give you a code that you will use to enter the building and the unit you will be staying in.<br /><br />Public transportation or Uber/Lyft is how I usually get around the area. I really like the public bicycles.<br /><br />Street parking is not recommended. There are 2 parking garages nearby if you do bring a car. If you do insist on parking on the street then I would recommend parking near Dolores park and not leaving anything in your car.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />A previous guests has urged us to stress that this is not a child friendly neighborhood, building, or apartment.<br /><br />Enjoy the space and enjoy the Mission District!<br /><br /><b>Registration Details</b><br />2021-004666STR
