One of the most diverse places on Earth, and truly one of the most exceptional places where Aloha is born and raised. <br /><br />*public transportation is VERY limited in area<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />We offer our guests an artfully constructed, petite one bedroom suite nestled amongst native ferns and tropical flowers. With us you’ll fall asleep to the rhythmic sound of chirping tree frogs, and wake up with just the sounds of the birds and breeze. <br /><br />Your sparkling clean hideaway is complete with comfy queen size bed, soft fresh linens, plush towels, armchair, wall mounted TV with Netflix, Hulu and speedy WiFi<br /><br />Your ensuite bathroom offers a spacious tile shower, high pressured, filtered hawaiian rainwater, warm cedar accents and a skylight which provides generous lighting. <br /><br />The kitchenette includes a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, chilled drinking water and hot water kettle. We have also created a cooking space on the lanai should you want to prepare some simple meals during your stay. <br /><br />There is a cozy booth style nook for breakfast and such, then after a long day of voyaging, have a cold beverage in the evenings on the covered lanai. This outdoor seating is perfect for your take out dinners from the many wonderful and locally owned restaurants or for simply relaxing in the cool breeze listening to the bamboo chimes.<br /><br />The lanai has a gate that we ask is kept closed to prevent our pups from visiting you in your space. All resident pets are outdoor pets to do not enter the cottage.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Your oasis includes a long anthurium and fern lined driveway to stroll along, front yard area, parking alongside cabin and star gazing clearing for you to enjoy during your stay. The street we live on is wonderful for nature walks, as you will often see neighbors taking strolls and talking stories while walking their dogs.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Our fabulous hale is 45 minutes from Hilo and approximately one hour from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. You will be just few miles from Pahoa town, restaurants, cafes, yoga classes, spectacular newly created black sand beaches and the most recent lava flows on Earth.<br /><br />PLEASE NOTE: your own transportation is essential in this beautifully rural part of the island.
