This Spacious AirBnb has Two Separate 450 square foot Studio Units connected by an outdoor stairway. The Downstairs Unit has 2 Queen Beds and the Upstairs Unit has 1 King Bed and a Twin Bed. A Separate Large Event room functions as a Kitchenette and Living Room. The room has a Washer/Dryer, WashBasin Sink, Dining Table, Refrigerator, Air Fryer, Kitchen Appliances, Dual Hot Plate, Dishes/Utensils (no full size oven or dishwasher). The AirBnb has Two Outdoor Patios and a Private Entrance.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />The Property is located a short 5 minute drive from Safeway, Walmart and Starbucks. The AirBnb is situated in a more temperate zone on the Big Island since it is at a higher elevation. (Please note: The Property is located at approximately 700 feet elevation above sea level, so it is cooler in this area during the evenings and therefore we provide portable air conditioning units for both the upstairs studio and the downstairs studio unit). The Property is located near some of the famous coffee farms in Kona (such as the UCC coffee farm and the Mauka Meadows coffee farm). <br /><br />The Property consists of two 450 square foot studio units connected by an outdoor stairway. This AirBnb has Two Queen beds and a King bed with an additional Twin bed. It also has two walk in fully tiled modern showers and sinks, two walk in closets, and two guest living areas both with a flat screen television. The second floor studio unit also has an outdoor patio/lanai. There is free parking for one vehicle and street parking for a second vehicle if needed.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The property is nicely landscaped with native Hawaiian trees and plants which gives this Private AirBnb a truly “tropical feeling”. There are no neighbors behind the property (it is preservation land) therefore providing you with peace and quiet.<br /><br />The AirBnb is situated above street level so it cannot be seen from the road giving guests an additional sense of privacy. There is a large open driveway and the parking area has one designated stall. The Property shares the driveway with the main home. The AirBnb is a separate stand alone two story structure with its own private entrance.<br /><br />There are only a few available beaches in the Kailua Kona area and the AirBnb is approximately a 10 minute drive away to these beaches. Other vacation rentals may be near the water but not necessarily near a beach and may easily be a long 30 to 45 minute drive from Kailua-Kona town.<br /><br />The nearest available beach is the world famous Kamakahonu "Eye of the Turtle" Beach. It is only 2.4 miles from the Private Bungalow...basically a short 5 to 10 minute drive down the hill. This beach has snorkeling, swimming, and stand up paddle board activities and is located in Central Kailua-Kona. It is also famous because it is the start of Ali'i Drive (the Waikiki of Kona) and the finishing line for the "Iron Man World Championship". It can be seen on T.V. around the world when the Iron Man competition comes to Kona.<br /><br />The Private AirBnb is located a short 5 to 10 minute drive from the heart of the famous Ali’i Drive in Downtown Kona. Guests will have access to restaurants, retail, shopping, urgent care, and other neighborhood amenities such as Safeway, Walmart, Target, Starbucks, Longs Drugs, the Post Office, Library, Parks, and other Kailua-Kona outdoor activities. Beach access along with activity centers (i.e. Island tours, Scuba Diving, Fishing etc.) are a few minutes drive away (off of Ali’i drive) allowing guests to stay off the “crowded hotel areas” but still provide them with direct access to the pristine Hawaiian beaches and other island amenities.
