Peaceful upcountry home in South Kona with 180 degree ocean views. This cozy 2 bedroom unit sits on the lower level of the main house. I'o hale offers a charming space with privacy and comfort. Super safe neighborhood. Essential amenities a mile down the road like gas, groceries, Sunday farmers market, pizza, and tacos! Organic produce available right from the land. Regular sightings of I'o, the endemic and endangered Hawaiian hawk that only resides on Big Island (hence the name of our Hale).<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />I'o Hale is the downstairs unit of our beloved house on a 1 acre farm in South Kona. The unit has 2 bedrooms and a 3/4 bath (stall shower). There's a queen bed in bedroom 1 and a queen bed in bedroom 2. The kitchen has an apartment sized gas range and full size refrigerator. The lanai is as big as the inside, and has plenty of room to spread out for a family dinner or just kick back and take in the views. We love to offer fresh fruit from the farm as it's available throughout the year, as well as 100% Kona Coffee and/or endemic mamaki tea as a welcome amenity 😊<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />We have 2 friendly farm cats as well as an adjoining large studio unit available that can accommodate families or groups traveling together 😊<br /><br />Happy to offer local recommendations.
