











A rare find at the beach! Rent the ground floor of my 3-story home, steps from the crystalline waters of Kealakekua Bay which is frequented by dolphins, Manta Rays and turtles. Five minutes walk to the local's favorite Manini Beach Park. This idyllic location offers ocean view, spectacular sunsets and the lullaby of ocean waves to send you to sleep. Freshly painted and redecorated in May 2026.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />My house in Kealakekua Bay is peaceful and serene. An ideal LOCATION if you love water, swimming, snorkeling, and seeing dolphins and whales. You can walk across the street or five minutes walk from my house will take you to Kealakekua Bay main bay, Manini beach, or the Napo'opo'o wharf. All are great swim spots depending on your taste. The Spinner dolphins frequently show up at Kealakekua Bay. My house is located in Napo'opo'o or Manini Village, a small community of houses where many locals live. For rent is a completely separate one-bedroom apartment on the GROUND FLOOR of my 3-story house. I live on the upper floors with my boy-cat, Om. The Ohana has about 600 square feet (60 sq. meters) and consists of a spacious living/dining area (20'x20') with a kitchenette, and a separate bedroom (12x12 ft). Watching sunset is amazing from the lanai. The bathroom is accessible from the living area and bedroom. Please see a photo of the floor plan. My home is a "second-row ocean", i.e. there is only one house between me and the ocean. There are ceiling fans in the living room & bedroom, and a tower fan in all other rooms. The space is cool year-round. The abundant ocean breeze makes air-conditioning unnecessary. 48" Roku TV. New laminate flooring in July 2021. <br />The bedroom has a high-quality Queen size bed, 100% cotton bedding, and an adjoining bathroom with a shower and tub. The living space has two comfortable futons that easily pull out into full-size (54" wide) beds. I can also bring a Queen size Airbed. Easy to check yourself in using a digital lock on the front door anytime after 3pm. For items in the kitchen, please read "Other details to note". Mahalo.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />walk to 2 beaches. parking on property in my yard. The deck is entirely yours. I also share the upstairs lanai and yard with my guests.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />The kitchenette has 2 coffee maker, Ninja Blender, Magnetic cooktop, conventional electric cooktop, Crock pot, Toaster Oven, microwave oven, and more pots, pans and dishes you will ever need. The SINK is in the laundry room, five steps from the kitchen. I provide beach towels, an outside hose for rinsing all your beach items, and a clothesline. Washer/dryer use if optional ($25 for your entire stay). I have a few extra snorkels & fins. Use if they fit. My Ohana is equipped with Spectrum high-speed wi-fi. I had Spectrum to run a new cable from the street to my house. There is also a CAT V cable with adapting cord for hardwire internet into your computer.
