There is a private parking spot for you at the end of the driveway. <br /><br />The accommodation is surrounded by lush tropical foliage, palm trees, birds and flowers. It is a quintessential Hawaiian tropical location with mature trees and lots of privacy!<br /><br />Relish your morning Kona Coffee on the spacious 350 square-foot Lanai surrounded by the songs of native birds and complete privacy.<br /><br />The interior of the accommodation is approximately 1000 ft.² with living room, kitchen and kitchen bar, bathroom, two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and one with two twin beds. We provide comfortable, bed linens with tropical comforters and our Air BnB has been professionally decorated with Hawaiian photos and paintings, as well as other Tropical touches. <br /><br />We do have air-conditioning, however, with lots of windows, nice breezes and the elevation being at approximately 1000 feet, the temperature at our property is just about perfect and we rarely need air conditioning.<br /><br />The 350 sq foot outside Lāna'i (porch) just outside the Living Room is really popular with our guests, it has a dining table for four and comfortable chairs for relaxing views of the gardens.<br /><br />In the rear of the property, there is a private hot tub and grill area with a high quality Weber propane grill, and BBQ tools. This area is is not not shared with anybody and the hot tub is professionally serviced weekly. This area is set in a lush tropical spot, fenced with bamboo fencing and night lighting. <br /><br /> We feel that we provide great value and high quality accommodations for your stay with us. We have hundreds of 5 star reviews and many return guests every year. <br /><br />For the beach and your outings, we provide four Tommy Bahamas beach chairs, high quality snorkels, masks, and fins. Beach umbrella, cooler, boogie boards and floaty noodles. Everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach. <br /><br />This is all provided free of charge as part of your Kona Palm Retreat experience. <br /><br />Unlike many other Airbnb's, we also provide at no charge a full size, washer and dryer with laundry detergent and dryer sheets.<br /><br /> All linens and towels, as well as beach towels. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, first aid kit, sunscreen, outdoor barbecue and hot tub, complimentary Hawaiian chocolate covered Macadamia nuts and bottle of wine upon arrival. <br /><br />We also provide a copy of the book The Big Island Revealed, which has a myriad of interesting information and things to do on the big island.<br /><br />Our kitchen is completely furnished with high quality cooking supplies, coffee maker, hot water kettle, complementary coffee and creamer, wine glasses, bowls, plates, gas stove, microwave oven, rice, cooker, water filter, and just about everything else that you need to cook your own meals.<br /><br />The interior of the home is tastefully furnished, with lots of windows and natural light. We have provided just about everything we could imagine that you might possibly need while you are in Hawaii. <br /><br />The furniture is comfortable and we provide a large screen smart TV, Apple TV, and high-speed fiber optic Internet.<br /><br />The Kona Palm Retreat has just about everything you could possibly need for your vacation in Hawaii.<br /><br /> Please let us know if you have any questions before your book, we are happy to assist where we can.<br /><br />We have a caretaker available to assist you if there is anything that you need during your stay, and we are always available to answer any questions. <br /><br />We are committed to providing a high quality and enjoyable stay for your trip to Hawaii.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Our Air BNB apartment is completely private with its own parking space, private entrance, private Lanai and no shared spaces. <br /><br />We provide a code to the main gate, key to the accommodation and clear directions for self check in. <br /><br />Our accommodation is well appointed with just about everything you will need for your stay and is surrounded by tropical landscaping, flowers and lawns. <br /><br />There are multiple outdoor seating areas, hammocks under coconut trees and a 250 foot long gated, private driveway. The lush and tropical Hot tub and BBQ area are only for you and your guests and are not shared.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Our property is reflective of the true tropical nature of Hawaii, with lush gardens, expansive lawns, 100s of palm trees and very close to Kailua Kona town, the ocean, restaurants and shopping.
