We prioritized quality, function and comfort. <br /><br />- Unbeatable location! Steps to Waikiki, Ala Moana Beach, and Ala Moana Mall<br />- Newly renovated and designed<br />- High speed internet + WIFI (for those living that remote life!)<br />- Parking available ($32/night - this is cheap for Waikiki)<br />- Laundry room right next to the unit (accessible via app).<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This modern studio was personally renovated with the help of my closest friends and family, and our “ideal day in Honolulu” in mind. We prioritized quality, function and comfort. Which means you’ll find new top-of-line appliances and little details around the condo, like homemade pottery, that are here to make Eight Thousand Waves feel like your home too. Eight Thousand Waves is also a 5 minute walk from the infamous Ala Moana Beach where you can catch the sunset every evening!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />For those who have a car, there's a parking garage attached that charges $32/night (this is cheap compared to the rest of Waikiki). Alternatively, I highly recommend using Biki Bikes (Hawaii’s bike share system) to get around. You will also be able to get around town with Ubers/Lyfts.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Things to note:<br /><br />- City Noises - This unit is in a dense condo building in the heart of the city and near a main road. With the convenient location comes the downside of the occasional typical city noises (traffic/ambulances, tourists on the street and in the building). If you're an extremely light sleeper, I do not recommend booking.<br /><br />- This unit is located next to the laundry room - Pro: Laundry can be conveniently done (via an App) + I provide laundry detergent. Con: You may hear a little extra noise if people are loud entering/exiting the laundry room.<br /><br />-This unit is near the elevator - Pro: Convenient to get in and out Con: You can hear the rumbles of the elevator once in awhile.<br /><br />- My balcony/view is not great.
