Enjoy a restorative stay just steps from the Mill Valley Lumber Yard and the best restaurants and shops. Just a 5 minute walk further is the town central depot. <br /><br />The flat is a modern take on a Victorian era building and has been thoughtfully redesigned with a new kitchen, designer lighting and a mix of vintage and modern furniture. We are 3rd generation Mill Valley residents and can't wait for you to enjoy what this special town has to offer!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Drink your coffee at the outdoor bistro table while you watch the sun rise from the East, or enjoy a cocktail and watch the sun set behind Mount Tam from the sunroom on the West.<br /><br />Ascend the exterior staircase and enter through the front door into the living room. In the bedroom, you’ll find a queen bed and two benches to rest your luggage. The living room couch pulls out into a trundle full bed. The dining room is a perfect place to gather for a meal, or spend some time working remotely. You’ll find some of our favorite books on the shelf adjacent to the cozy reading nook. <br /><br />The kitchen is equipped with an oven, cooktop, microwave, and dishwasher. The washer + dryer are located in the sunroom adjacent to the kitchen. From the sunroom, there is a direct view of the Sleeping Lady [Mount Tamalpais].<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests have access to the entire flat, plus the generously sized covered patio.<br />Please note that there is an exterior stairway with 20 steps leading to the flat so please plan accordingly if steps are difficult to navigate. Mill Valley city noise ordinance limits residential noise between the hours of 9pm-9am everyday, plus there are tenants at this multi-unit building so please be mindful of this while you enjoy the space. <br /><br />Parking: 1 off street parking space for the unit, if bringing a second car it must be parked on the street. <br /><br />I will personally meet you at the house to check you in, walk you through the home, and answer any questions you might have.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />A 4th guest can be accommodated for an additional $25 charge per night.
