Store, Restaurant, Bar & Live Music just down the road!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Welcome to Hamakua Sunrise Farm - A small 10 acre farmstead putting regenerative farming practices & eco-tourism together to encourage people to get back in touch with their roots and sources of sustenance. We run 50% off of solar power & 100% rainwater catchment. Here, you will find plants, animals & humans striving for balance and harmony.<br /><br />☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎<br /><br />Our Tiny Brown Cottage is perfect for staying on the Hamakua Coast, enjoying Hawaiian country life & various hikes and waterfalls. <br /><br />The room has a queen sized bed to comfortable sleep 2. There's a Roku TV for entertainment. <br /><br />The kitchenette has a double burner propane stove, a small refrigerator, microwave, Coffee maker, toaster and an electric kettle. Plates, cups, bowls, spoons knives and forks, cork screw/bottle openers etc are provided. <br />Starter Coffee & some condiment are also provided. We recommend bringing & drinking bottled water at all times.<br /><br />Barbecue grill is also available upon request but you must bring your own coal.<br /><br />There is a small patio breakfast bar with stools for 2 just outside the cottage. <br />The outdoors deck is great for having meals or just hanging out. Smoking is allowed outdoors only! <br /><br /><br />Bathroom is attached. Towels, Shampoo & body wash are provided. <br /><br />Paid Washer/Dryer are available during day light hours only.<br /><br /><br />☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎☀︎<br /><br />THINGS TO DO<br /><br />- There's a covered deck for you to watch sunrise from & practice yoga.<br /><br />- Purchase farm fresh eggs, homegrown coffee & locally sourced Hamakua Honey & natural souvenirs.<br /><br />- Barbecue grill is also available upon request but you must bring your own charcoal. <br /><br />- Night Sky is one of the most mesmerizing experiences on the farm. 100s of shooting stars and interesting sky activity. Watch out for the Saucers!<br /><br />- Hangout with our chickens, cows & ducks, feed them your left overs & participate in recycling left overs for eggs :)<br /><br />- Take a Walk around the farm. Painting supplies are also provided at the campgrounds if you want to get creative. <br /><br />- Explore local waterfalls ( Akaka Falls is very close)<br /><br /><br />Papaaloa Country Store Cafe & Bar just down the road is great place to get supplies, hot food & live music.
