Your Host lives upstairs. <br /><br />The studio has a private entrance and on site parking for 1 car. A full private bathroom is connected to the studio. Wifi and workspace suitable for remote working.<br />Guests can access a large downstair's lanai with tropical gardens and and ocean view.( shared space with host) A perfect place to relax Hawaiian style!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This lovely private studio has everything one needs for a comfortable island stay! The space is cleaned and sanitized using Airbnb Cleaning Guidlines. Conveniently located about 2.5 miles from downtown Hilo, local beaches, and parks. University of Hawaii and shopping are close by, and the airport is just 10 minutes away. Situated in a quiet neighborhood overlooking Hilo Town (elevation approx. 200ft)), the property has beautiful views of Mauna Kea and the ocean, cool breezes, and nice gardens, which all lend to a welcoming, peaceful, and relaxing atmosphere.<br /><br />Studio kitchenette has a small refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, toaster, hot water kettle, cook ware, dishes, and coffee maker or press. Perfect for making simple meals. The ceiling fan keeps you cool, and TV and hi-speed wifi keep you connected! <br /><br />This is a "green home" with solar hot water and a Photo voltaic system to reduce its' carbon footprint.<br /><br />The studio has a queen bed which is suitable for 2 guests. There is a 2 night minimum stay. Special requests are reviewed on a case by case basis. Please contact host with questions and requests.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests have access to gardens, yard, and first floor lanai . This is a great place to hang out in the hammock, relax on the punee ( daybed), and have your breakfast and lunch These are shared spaces with the host. <br /><br />Washer and Dryer available at certain times. ( 10$ per load, includes soap , washing , drying). This is located in the host's private laundry room.
