Fall asleep listening to the surf crash, sip coffee in the all-glass atrium, enjoy sunset drinks on our newly refurbished lanai while watching Humpbacks breach (Dec-Apr), pods of dolphins swim up the NaPali coast and surfers catch big swells at Hideaways Beach just below you.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />**Sept 2026 Discount**<br />Book our last week of 2026 available - September 7-14 - and receive 10% off the nightly rate!<br /><br />Hale Honu Aloha (2 bed/2 bath condo) is a 2bd / 2ba oceanfront condo that features beautiful Mediterranean tiles throughout, flat screen TVs in the living area and master bedroom. Also, a big plus for those warm Hawaiian afternoons -- central A/C throughout the condo, making it a refreshing place to return after a hot day in the sun.<br /><br />The fully-equipped, well-stocked kitchen with granite counter tops, cherry cabinetry and updated appliances overlooks a large, open living room with a sectional sofa with plenty of room for 4 people to spread out and a Samsung 65" Smart TV and Yamaha Sound bar mounted on the wall.<br />Plus an ample dining area that offers expansive views of the Pacific ocean.<br /><br />The Condo promotes a comfortable, bright, open living space that takes advantage of the delightful ocean breezes and magical sunset views.<br /><br />The master en-suite bedroom has A/C and is furnished with a Cal King bed, a 14" Sealy Posturepedic Plus mattress, Smart TV and ample storage with built-in cabinetry. The spacious master bedroom opens to the glass-enclosed atrium with mesmerizing views from every which way, but also provides a folding louvred door when privacy is preferred. The master bathroom has an upgraded walk in shower with rain shower head, shampoo/conditioner and body wash dispensers, plush bath linens, double sinks and more storage.<br /><br />The spacious 2nd bedroom has A/C and two twin beds or a king bed, whichever configuration the guest prefers. There is a guest bathroom located just outside the bedroom with a bathtub and a rain shower head (also with shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers) + full washer/dryer and laundry products for our guests' use.<br /><br />This condo comes equipped with all your beach necessities: beach towels, beach chairs, ice chests, sun umbrella and more.<br /><br />Although this condo is located on the 3rd floor, there are only 8 small steps from the private parking lot to the front door, the closest level to the parking lot, yet still slightly above street level. On the ocean side, this 3rd floor unit allows for a panoramic view of the surf.<br /><br />Puu Poa has a refreshing heated swimming pool surrounded by a well-manicured lawn with sweeping views across the Pacific. Lounge in the sun or under the shade umbrellas poolside while you soak in the Aloha spirit, enjoying both pool and ocean views. The grounds of the resort complex contain meticulously landscaped gardens and private tennis / pickle ball courts backed by majestic mountain views, as well as ample parking exclusively for Puu Poa guests and residents. <br />Hideaways Beach is located just below the Puu Poa ocean bluff and Puu Poa Beach just below the recently opened luxe 1 Hotel Hanalei (which has fabulous restaurants, bars and a breakfast cafe), a hop, skip and jump out the front door. Hanalei Bay’s world class beaches, casual restaurants and retail shops are a short 8-10 minute drive down the hill.<br /><br />Activities nearby include seasonal swimming, snorkeling, fishing, tide-pooling, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, hiking, sightseeing, catamaran tours, botanical gardens, shopping, dining, tennis, pickle ball, golf and more.<br /><br />Please Note: We usually have a 5-night minimum stay but often allow shorter stays between bookings. Plus a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the ocean bluff, large grassy lawn, tennis / pickle ball courts and private parking lot exclusively for guests of Puu Poa.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Location, location, location!<br />Our condo is one of only a handful in the complex uniquely situated to view mountain-ocean-sunsets from both inside and outside the unit, year-round. You may also see whales (Dec-Apr) and dolphins, surfers and sailboats and if you look close enough, honu (sea turtles) and monk seals. Three beaches are within easy walking distance, including the stunning Hideaways Beach, just below the condo.<br /><br />Central air-conditioning and ample ceiling fans refresh the entire condo any time of the day, a convenient option when Hawaii's trade winds calm. <br /><br />The 2nd bedroom can be configured as two twin beds or one king bed. Please let us know in advance of arrival your preference. (The primary bedroom is always a king bed.) As such, there is a maximum of 3 beds in the unit.<br /><br />For stays of 11 nights or more, a mid-stay clean @$200 is required; two mid-stay cleans with 21 nights; three mid-stay cleans with 28 or more nights. The mid-stay clean fee(s) will be assessed after booking.<br /><br />The unit is on the 3rd floor, closest level to the parking lot.
