Step onto your lanai and be fully immersed in the rhythm of the Pacific, with no railings, no buildings—just sky, sea, and tranquility.<br /><br />Here, nature is your daily companion: the soft glow of sunrise, the golden shimmer of sunset, playful turtles drifting along Anini Reef, winter whales breaching offshore, and surfers riding the North Shore swells. Adventurous guests can hike the jungle trail down to Kaweonui Beach (Sealodge Beach), a quiet, secluded spot for swimming or snorkeling. Trail can be slippery after rain—please use caution.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />⚠️ (IMPORTANT)<br /><br />Designed for Two<br />This open-concept condo is best suited for two adults seeking a peaceful, intimate stay. Due to the layout and lack of infant accommodations, it is not suitable for babies or young children.<br /><br />No Air Conditioning<br />Trade winds keep the condo comfortable most of the year. On rare windless days, it may feel warm, but we have a fan above the bed.<br /><br />Oceanfront Environment & Wear<br />Being this close to the ocean means salt air is part of daily life. You may notice rust or signs of wear on fixtures and electronics. We maintain the condo carefully, but perfection isn’t realistic in this environment. If something concerns you, please let us know and we’ll do our best to address it.<br /><br />Occasional Noise<br />You may occasionally hear the upstairs visitors, their cleaners or folks on the bluff. The ocean usually drowns out most sounds.<br /><br />Popular Sunset Viewpoint<br />Because this condo offers one of the best views on the Sealodge property, guests or visitors may occasionally gather on the nearby cliff in front of the unit during sunset or for photo opportunities. These visits are typically brief. The condo itself remains private.<br /><br />Property Access<br />Sealodge is built along oceanfront cliffs. Access to the C Building includes a short uphill walk from parking and stairs down to the ground-floor unit. This is common throughout the property and worth noting for guests with mobility concerns.<br /><br />Island Wildlife & Insects<br />Kauai is a tropical island. You may encounter ants, geckos, spiders, mosquitoes, roaches, gnats, centipedes, roosters, or chickens. We conduct regular pest control that is usually quite effective, but encounters can still occur. Please do not leave food out or feed wildlife. Refunds are not provided for natural island conditions.<br /><br />Travel Delays & Weather<br />Weather, airline delays, flight cancellations, road closures, power outages, and other travel disruptions are outside our control. Refunds are not provided for circumstances beyond our control, unless Airbnb’s Major Disruptive Events Policy applies.
