This lovely LEGAL vacation rental condo, overlooking the beautiful Ma'alaea bay, is stunning. 180 degree views, sweet sea breezes, and lullaby of the ocean! We offer A/C, as well as ceiling fans, fully stocked kitchen, pool, W/D, a short walk to the restaurants, shops and boats of Ma'alaea harbor and long, empty beach. The whales play just outside your lanai all winter and the sea turtles are visible all year long. You literally cannot stay any closer to the ocean without being on a boat!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />VIEWS! Amazing views. You can watch whales and turtles right from the lanai! Enjoy watching the boats coming and going from the harbor! Lovely teak, tropical furniture (King and Queen sized beds) and beach house decor. Spacious and comfortable! This corner unit on the 5th floor has windows/doors on three sides offering great cross ventilation and views.<br />We offer A/C in the living room and both bedrooms but the breeze and fresh ocean air is so lovely!<br />The kitchen is fully stocked, beautiful granite counters, full size fridge/stove/oven. <br />Much of the artwork is original, and the many of the photos are taken by the owners who are life-long scuba divers, photographers and authors.<br />Ma'alaea Harbor is just minutes away with restaurants, Maui Ocean Center Aquarium, and snorkel/fishing and snorkel boats!<br />Haycraft Beach Park is just a few minutes walk down the road and results in about four miles of beautiful beach <br />Kealia National Bird Refuge is just a walk down the beach if you like to bird watch!<br />Did I mention the views? The fifth floor offers an amazing view of Molokini Crater, Kahoolawe, Sugar beach, Kihei, Wailea and Makena!<br />The Island Sands Resort is located on a culdesac so there is little traffic, and VERY PEACEFUL. Only 84 units so no crowds. There is a pool just feet away from the ocean with BBQ facilities and picnic tables. <br />Ma'alaea Harbor is centrally located making everything easy access.<br /><br />This unit is wheelchair/handicap accessible due to a previous owner who was in a wheel chair. However, it is not 100% designed for a wheel chair. One of the two bedrooms/bathroom are fully wheel chair accessible with sliding walls with wide access for greater accessibility as well as a roll in shower with sliding walls with wide access. <br />The toilet does not have grab bars but we do have a portable handicapped toilet seat. We have a shower seat, as well. We installed a wheelchair friendly vanity but the sink is 35" high, so slightly higher than ideal. The bed in this room is power adjustable. The living room and lanai (where the table/chairs are) are also accessible. The kitchen however is NOT easily accessible for a wheel chair. The kitchen has about a 26' entrance and would be difficult to maneuver in with a wheel chair. The queen bed is an adjustable bed. The pool also offers motorized accessibility chair. The designated parking stall has with extra space.<br /><br />Located on the 5th floor (with elevator access)—the views are to live for! <br /><br />We are super hosts and are happy to help you plan your trip, make recommendations and plan activities. Let us know if you have questions.<br /><br />We have a 3 night minimum but we will book shorter stays when that is what is available, or when your preferred dates are right up against another booking, so make sure to ask if you have any special requests!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />We have a designated parking space for this condo that has extra space for handicapped access, located right next to the entrance. We are 15 minutes from Kahului Airport (OGG). <br />You will likely want a car for exploring Maui but Ma'alaea Village is all accessible within walking distance, as well as Haycraft park and miles of empty beach!<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />This is a serene, and beautiful condo.
