This particular unit is beautifully updated, well maintained, and is sparkling clean. The location is fantastic. Kaanapali Shores is known for its location where nearly everything you need is just stroll away.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Ocean view condo, ocean front resort.<br />Super Host Pro Tip. When you use your weather app do not use Maui as the location. Use Kaanapali, this will be much more accurate since we are on the dry side of the island.<br />You'll find a full kitchen with granite counters, stunning tile floors, tasteful artwork and beautiful details like the pendant bar lights, and designer island furniture. You will appreciate lots of handy items like hooks for hanging gear and binoculars for whale watching. <br /><br />Message me to inquire if a third guest would be appropriate. <br /><br />You will appreciate the end of hallway privacy. <br /><br />Kaanapali Shores has two pools, two hot tubs, dining areas, koi ponds, a library, BBQs, tennis courts and a dedicated pickleball court, two shuffleboard courts, a bar and restaurant, coffee spots, and a plethora of services from surfboard rental to massage, right on property. See our guide book for details on everything interesting outside our unit.<br /><br />The ocean is the featured view at Kaanapali Shores. Enjoy it on the lanai, and there are a couple of masks and snorkels along with beach chairs in our unit for you to take to enjoy at the beach. <br /><br />This is a no smoking unit in a no smoking building on a no smoking property. HOWEVER, if you do smoke, there is a dedicated smoking area with ashtray by the canal near where it meets the ocean.<br />What kind of shoes do frogs wear?<br />Open toad. No smoking in the condo or the lanai. The upside is that the smoking areas outside have beach front views of the ocean.<br /><br />Updated Instructions for gym use/membership are on the gym door, lobby level of the main building.<br /><br />We start you off with two Beach towels. These towels must be in the room when you check out. In addition, we supply you with two towel 'cards' that allow you to use resort towels. Take the cards to the towel kiosk between the pools and exchange them for two towels. You can return these towels for new ones as needed, or for the cards when you are done. The two towel cards must be in the room at check out.<br /><br />We have a 1 cup Keurig machine and leave you a couple of Hawaiian coffee pods to get you started but really encourage you to explore the several coffee options around here, starting with the Cope Cabana coffee kiosk in the lobby. Java Jazz across the street in the center is island famous for their coffee. Also, there is the Vida's Coffee in the Food Truck park. If you just want a simple cup, head to the ABC Store a block down the street. They brew several Hawaiian Coffee flavors daily at a $2 price point. Can’t beat that! In your trek to the ABC Store, you will pass the island famous Papi’s cinnamon roll joint. Line starts forming around 6:30am and they close when sold out. 1 easily feeds 2. Don’t leave the island without trying one! <br /><br />Closest grocery store: Times Market. Excellent poke.<br /><br />Prefer a large variety of food for lunch or dinner?
