New furnishings, linens, and decor throughout. Let the day slip away in the comfortable California King bed. A pull out sofa sleeper is available in the living room and a favorite spot for the kids to unwind. 2 smart TV’s, in-unit washer and dryer, central AC, a kitchen stocked with dishes and cookware, and a starter set of soap, and necessities means you will kick in to vacay mode right away. <br /><br />Across the street is Kahana Gateway Plaza, a small shopping area with several great amenities including Whaler’s Village convenience store, the Maui Brewing Co., Hawaiian Village Coffee (one of my favorites!), a nail spa, Maui Dive Shop, McDonalds, and several other shops. Walk to Dollie’s pub (also a favorite!), the famous Miso Phat Sushi and other local restaurants. <br /><br />This slice of paradise is situated at Kahana Bay and centrally located between the Kaanapali and Kapalua resorts, in the quiet community of Kahana. Its central location means that guests are within minutes of all of the activities that make Maui the #1 vacation destination in the world.<br /><br />**wildfire update**<br />We are located about 15 minutes from Old Lahaina Town. West Maui is open for business and we welcome kind visitors. <br /><br />We are hotel zoned in a resort setting with onsite activities desk, pool, fitness was center, ping png table and more.<br /><br />Lahaina, Kaanapali, and Kapalua are minutes away, as are many world-class beaches (D T Fleming beach is just north and has been voted one of the best beaches in the world). Championship golf at both the Kapalua Golf Course (home of the annual SBS PGA Tour Championship) and the Royal Kaanapali Golf Club (home of the annual PGA Senior Skins Game) are just minutes away.<br /><br />Find a beach package for your use including 2 beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and beach towels ready for your excursion to the beach. During the fall and winter it is not uncommon that these currents sweep away a very large amount of sand which will gradually return back in spring and summer. Additionally, you will find large sand bags protecting the Ocean wall. Our homeowners Association, Maui County, and the State of Hawaii are working diligently to return Kahana Bay to its full potential. <br /><br />This circumstance, unfortunately, affects the accessibility of our valued guests to the beach during certain times of the year.
