Centrally located between Ka'anapali and Kapalua you will find yourself close to a grocery store, the farmer's market, the fish market, shopping and many restaurant's. Depending on the tides the property provides a small beach out front that is great for swimming and snorkeling.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />ABOUT THE CONDO...<br />This beautiful direct oceanfront STUDIO (#102A) is located in beautiful West Maui, about 3 miles north of Ka'anapali. While relaxing on your private lanai, you have incredible views of the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i. Even though this condo is on the 1st floor, it is above ground level, so you can leave you lanai doors open and take advantage of the breezy trade winds and the musical sounds of the pacific. The breathtaking Hawaiian sunsets will be a lasting memory. Listen to the local sounds announcing the sunset every evening, by the blowing of the conch shells up and down the coast line. <br /><br />The tropical grounds of Paki Maui include a tranquil koi fishpond and waterfall that greet you at your entry door. The ocean front side of the condo/ lanai has a grassy lawn area of about 30 feet between you and the ocean. It's just perfect for sunbathing with lounge chairs and tables to help you relax. You can snorkel and swim right out front but there is not a direct ocean access. You can access the ocean by using the beach park right next door or some do climb over the seawall, but I can't recommend that. During your snorkeling experience, you may see the magnificent Giant Sea Turtles, and many tropical fish and colorful coral. There is a gated heated pool and Jacuzzi area surrounded by lounge chairs, with beautiful Hawaiian flowers and plants. You may choose to barbecue your meals on the two gas BBQ grills in the pool/cabana area or use the charcoal grills located on the lawn area (charcoal not provided). You can enjoy your meals on your oceanfront private lanai. Many of our guests consider the lawn area to be the "Gathering Place" where you can meet and enjoy chatting some of the other guests and owners. If your travels bring you to Maui from mid-December through April, you will be treated to the magical experience watching the migration of the incredible Humpback whales to the warm Maui waters. Watch these “gentle giant’s” frolic in the channel from your lanai or book a trip on a local whale watching boat where whale sightings are practically guaranteed during this time. Pods of spinner dolphins and giant green sea turtles can be seen year round.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests' are welcomed to use what ever is in the unit, unless it's in a locked cabinet or closet.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />A starter set of kitchen supplies and bath amenities (1 oz. hotel size shampoo, conditioner, bar of soap) are left for guest use.
