Stairs only; no elevator.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />NATURAL LIGHT<br />We designed the space to feel bright and airy, where the outdoor beauty of Kauai can be felt within the walls. If you’re extremely sensitive to light, please note there are no blackout curtains. Luckily, most guests are traveling from the mainland (3-6 hours ahead of Hawaii), which makes the morning sunshine a welcoming gift.<br /><br />ROOSTERS<br />Kauaʻi is wonderfully wild and alive—and that includes sound. Free-roaming chickens and roosters are everywhere on the island, and you will absolutely hear roosters crowing in the early morning (sometimes before sunrise). This is a normal, daily part of island life and not something that can be controlled or avoided, even in resort areas.<br /><br />If you’re a light sleeper, sensitive to early-morning noise, or accustomed to a quiet urban/suburban environment, this may be something to seriously consider before booking a trip here. We encourage guests to embrace these natural island sounds as part of Kauaʻi’s charm and authenticity—but we also understand it’s not for everyone.
