Locally managed 🤙🏻<br /><br />Located in Kihei, on the leeward, sunny side of Maui, this condo has everything you'll need to enjoy a relaxing vacation.<br /><br />Nicely decorated 1 bedroom condo with fully equipped kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. Murphy bed with queen-size mattress. Lanai overlooks the lush gardens and a peekaboo view of the ocean. Great place for couples & families.<br /><br />Maui Sunset condo complex has 5 acres of oceanfront, a swimming pool, a putting green and more.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This 681 sq. ft. condo is located on the second floor of building A and features a large private covered lanai where you'll be able to relax and enjoy your meals.<br /><br />The condo comes fully furnished with supplies for 4 people to have a very pleasant and comfortable stay.<br /><br />The bedroom has a queen-size bed and the living room has a queen-size Murphy bed with a real mattress.<br /> <br />The kitchen is fully appointed with range/oven, microwave, dishwasher and all necessary utensils, cookware, dishes, and dish towels.<br /> <br />The remodeled bathrooms have a sumptuous tiled shower with all essentials.<br /> <br />The washer/dryer will allow you to do your laundry during the stay, so maybe you don't need to bring as many clothes in your suitcases and keep some room for awesome Maui gifts to bring back home.<br /><br />Due to the water softness, only high-efficiency laundry detergent should be used to avoid any overflow. Detergent is provided, please make sure to only use this and no other detergent and never exceed the recommended amount.<br /><br />In addition to the basic essentials, you may find other limited supplies of items such as plastic wrap, foil or condiments in the kitchen as well as beach/sports supplies (such as beach chairs, umbrella and snorkel gear) in the bedroom closet. Due to breakage/damage from previous guests, we cannot guarantee any/all items will be available for you to use, but if they are, we ask you to take care of them as if they were your own to ensure that future guests will also be able to enjoy them.<br /><br />We provide our guests with hand soap, paper towels, napkins, dish detergent, sponge, dishwasher pods, tissues, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />When you stay at Maui Sunset, you'll get to enjoy one of the largest freshwater pools of all the condominium resorts on the island. Stay relaxed and exercised thanks to the included tennis courts, putting green, croquet field, shuffleboard, exercise room, and a large hot spa bath.<br /><br />With direct oceanfront access, you'll be on one of the many gorgeous Maui beaches without even having to leave Maui Sunset.<br /><br />Maui Sunset also offers two large central BBQ areas for your enjoyment and lawn parties. These are kept immaculately clean by the Maui Sunset staff.<br /><br />Venture outside Maui Sunset and you'll find the greatest places for snorkeling, swimming, and scuba diving. The best shopping, golfing and dining experiences are just a stone's throw away in Kihei and Wailea.<br /><br />Please visit the office to register all persons occupying the unit and to provide your vehicle information. If you get to the condo after 5pm please locate the security guard to be issued a parking permit. Please make sure to officially register when the office re-opens at 9am, 7 days a week.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />CHECK-IN is anytime after 4:00 PM and CHECKOUT is anytime before 11:00 AM.<br /><br />When availability allows, we’re happy to accommodate an early check-in at no additional charge. Early check-in is not guaranteed and depends on our calendar and cleaning schedule.<br /><br />Late check-out, when available, is offered for a fee of $100 and must be arranged in advance. Late check-out fees are handled separately through the Airbnb Resolution Center.<br /><br />Please let us know at least a week in advance if this is something you would like to take advantage of and we will check availability and let you know if it is possible.<br /><br />**Earliest check-in would be 9am and latest check-out would be 9pm. Any earlier arrival or later departure time would require booking an extra night.<br /><br />We ask that you please respect our home and DO NOT MOVE the decor or furniture (other than the coffee table in order to use the Murphy bed). Oftentimes we have back-to-back guests and do not have the time to put the items back where they were intended to be. Also, there have been occasions when items have been lost or damaged. If you must move things, please put them back where you found them.<br /><br />PLEASE DO NOT WASH TOWELS WITH OTHER ITEMS!<br />Colors from other fabrics adhere to the towels<br />Other fabrics may cause pilling (fuzzballs) on the towels <br />Both could cause towels to be ruined and placed out of service, which may result in a charge to you.<br /><br />Keeping in mind the guests that will stay after you depart, we would greatly appreciate and hope that you consider refraining from cooking with certain ingredients that are strong-smelling and may linger within the unit. On that same note, please refrain from applying perfume or cologne within the unit, where the fragrance can soak into the soft surfaces.<br /><br />To avoid an “excessive sand” comment on your otherwise perfect review, please do the following; when coming from the beach please rinse off your “whole” self and beach equipment at any outdoor shower at the beach and also the shower located inside the pool area on property. Please shake out your beach towels, beach mats and clothing before entering the building and especially the unit. When we have sand in the shower, sinks and washer/dryer, it clogs up the venting and plumbing which potentially causes expensive issues, which may result in a charge to you.<br /><br />Renovations and improvements can happen at any time within the complex. We are typically notified by the Association when they are scheduling repairs; large or small and also spraying for pests (quarterly) - which we will in turn let our guests know. However, most units in this complex are individually owned and we are not usually informed when owners are conducting renovations. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.<br /><br />We have a semi–“smart” unit! You may notice a few small “pucks” around the space — these are YoLink Water Leak Sensors.
