Aloha and welcome to Kihei Sands, located in North Kihei. We are situated directly on Sugar Beach which is the longest continuous stretch of sand in all of Maui making it the perfect place for an extended walk on the beach! You will love our complex as it is centrally located making it easy to explore the entire island and only a short drive from the airport. There are only 30 units giving you an intimate feel. Great for couples and families with kids who want to be within steps of the ocean!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Our property is NOT impacted by the news of potentially prohibiting Short Term Rentals (STR) in Maui. Kihei Sands is zoned as a hotel property meaning it is exempt from any of the potential STR regulations being proposed by the County.<br /><br />We have 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Each bedroom with a plush King size bed, television, ceiling fan and separate in wall air conditioners. There is 1 bedroom/1 bath on the lower floor & 1 bedroom/1 bath upstairs making it the perfect layout for couples or families. Please note that the upper bedroom is lofted. <br /><br />Enjoy cooking? Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a meal or head down to the ocean front gas grill to make dinner and dine with the sunset. If you don't feel like cooking head to one of the many restaurants in Kihei/Wailea both of which are just a short drive. <br /><br />Heading out for the day? We have you covered with a cooler, beach towels and chairs for you to take on your adventures! <br /><br />The beach is clean with beautiful views stretching for miles in either direction. You can walk for miles south towards South Kihei or miles north towards Maalaea Bay. <br /><br />Weekly s'mores night on the oceanfront patio! <br /><br />Tea & fresh coffee served every morning by 6:00 am on the patio. Grab a mug and enjoy the sunrise! <br /><br />Kid friendly pool directly ocean front! Beach towels and shared toys available!<br /><br />• Keyless entry (no registration/no keys).<br />Prior to guests arriving at the property, a code is provided which allows guests to open the keyless entry front door. There are no keys to pick up or drop-off, so guests are free to simply let themselves in at any time after the check-in time which is 3:00 pm<br /><br />• FREE parking (1 car per condo).<br />We offer one parking spot. Note - the lot is small, if you are renting a vehicle such as a Tahoe it will be tight. Please plan accordingly <br /><br />• High-end Air Conditioner (quiet Mitsubishi 3 zone split AC system, one zone for your living area and second zone for your lower bedroom and 3rd zone for your upstairs loft bedroom).<br /><br />• SMART TVs for streaming your favorite shows.<br /><br />• Shared on-site Washer and Dryer available on the first and second floors. We provide you with laundry detergent if needed. <br /><br />• On second floor. No elevator. Must climb stairs<br /><br />•The common area is direct oceanfront with shared amenities such as a beachfront lawn with lounge chairs, large dining tables with umbrellas and BBQ area with 2 gas grills.
