The only beach in Maui that was once reserved for Hawaiian Royalty is less than 300 footsteps (from the front door of your condo to the edge of the ocean)! This is a very popular beach for canoeing, kite surfing, viewing sea turtles and whales, or simply basking in the sun. Picnic tables, grilling areas, free parking, and outdoor showers are also available at this beach. Do as much as you want or as little as you desire. The National Humpback Museum and Maui's only Whale Education Center are also on this same beach, just steps away from the condo. The door is labeled “Owner’s Closet, and it is the only part of the condo that guests do not have access to.” This small Owner’s Closet is totally separate from the large guest closet you will have full access to. ;)<br /><br />Kihei Food Oasis at South Maui Gardens is just a couple miles south on South Kihei Road and Alahele Street. There are lots of food trucks there, and they are open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm with live music every Saturday.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Due to our property cleaners’ schedules and our regularly scheduled condo maintenance items, early check-ins and late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. Almost all of our bookings are back to back (same day in, same day out) which makes things trickier.
