The Luana Kai Resort is on the beach side of Kihei Road. It is withing walking distance of a county beach part, restaurants, and shops.<br /><br />This unit was recently remodeled. It includes a full size washer and dryer plus a three-zone ductless mini-split A/C (we do not charge for the A/C but excessive electricity use may result in a surcharge).<br /><br />Details on our SheelerShelters website.<br /><br />Mahalo!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />We do our best to provide our guests with excellent service and a comfortable vacation home away from home. This floorplan is a 2BR 2BA on a single floor. The master bedroom has a king size bed, an adjoining full bathroom, and panoramic view of the Luana Kai grounds. The second bedroom has queen/twin XL bunk bed. The condo can sleep up to 6 comfortably with a rollout twin XL that can be set up in the living area.<br /><br />The condo is fully equipped, including mini split air conditioning units in both bedrooms and the living room, flat screen televisions, high-speed internet access, and full-size washer and dryer.<br /><br />You will find plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, body boards, beach umbrellas, and coolers. (You may find some snorkeling equipment - it has proven effectively impossible to keep the intended quantities clean and in good working order; we no longer make any promises. Sorry.).<br /><br />Unless you are a gourmand, you should have everything you might need in the kitchen, carefully organized for easy access.<br /><br />Finally, we stock the condo with a full set of laundry and cleaning items for you.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You have complete access to the condo and we hope that you will enjoy it and care for it as you would your own home. The A/C in the condo is there for your comfort. Excessive use of the A/C may result in an electricity surcharge - but our experience is that the clear majority of our guests will use the A/C responsibly and so they will have "free" A/C.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />We know that many flights leave later in the evening and will gladly accommodate late check-out when possible. Sometimes there will be a guest checking in on the same day or early the next day and we need time to ensure a thorough cleaning, but don't be afraid to ask.<br /><br /><br />There is open parking at Luana Kai. Parking for one car is included in the rental cost. Parking for an additional vehicle may be possible when arranged in advance - please let us know if you think you may need a second parking slot.<br /><br />Recently, we have had a problem with a Mattel toy known as "Slime" (and presumably variants from other companies).
