Local favorite fully stocked grocery store KTA. Shopping center includes drug store CVS, cinema, local book store, coffee shops, art gallery, and boutiques. It also hosts a farmers market every Saturday. <br /><br />A leisurely 10 minute stroll to Keauhou Bay which was a favorite retreat for Hawaiian Royalty. From the bay you can embark on memorable ocean adventures including snorkel cruise, sport fishing, diving excursions. At night you can view manta rays. The calm waters in the bay are excellent for stand up paddle boarding, swimming, and kayaking.<br /> <br />Kahalu'u Beach is just a 4 minute drive away and is popular for snorkeling. Mellow surf breaks make it a perfect spot to learn for a beginner surfer.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />** With golf course green views please expect early morning golf course lawn maintenance<br /><br />** Hawaii is a tropical island. The tropical climates are wonderful for weather, beaches and scenery, but do also provide a haven for insects. Expect geckos (little lizards) and at times more than the occasional insect (mostly fruit flies) in and around the home. Our condo association does quarterly pest maintenance treatment that does help and we do our best to keep the critters away.
