Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is a 2-hr drive and access to the Saddle Road towards Hilo is convenient. It is a 15-minute drive to Target, Walmart, Costco, and the Kona airport.<br /> <br />Kona is beautiful! Walk across the street to Hulihe'e Palace - The Daughters of Hawai'i, former residence of King Kamehameha the Great.
