If you need to park more than one vehicle, please don't hesitate to ask for details. We're happy to help.<br /><br />Although the building has no elevator, the condo is a third-floor unit. Only 1.5 levels of stairs are required, and the other 1.5-star levels are below street level. <br /><br />Bugs are common and unavoidable in Hawaii's tropical climate, but the situation can be mitigated by keeping the screens closed after dark. The unit is also constantly sprayed to ensure no “resident pests.”<br /><br />You may hear road noise as jalousie windows are not soundproof (they are slatted) but are a traditional type of window in the islands, allowing airflow and ventilation; white noise from the fans and AC units tends to mask any road noise. They also allow you to wake up to the sound of the tropical birds.<br /><br />Like most condos in the area, Keauhou Kai doesn’t offer central AC. The bedrooms downstairs have AC units; the common area has huge ceiling and floor fans and an AC unit that cools the living/dining and loft.
