Kona Bay is a 10 minute walk for swimming and sunset viewing. You'll love our ohana with its coziness, artistic Hawaiian touches, and garden view from the lanai. Utilizing the kitchen or BBQ and free parking keeps your costs down so you can enjoy more of the island’s activities.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Studio condo with all the amenities for your traveling convenience. Relax and have your coffee or cocktail on the private screened-in breezy lanai or by the condominium pool. The pool and pool area have been beautifully upgraded. You are pedestrian close to many of Kona’s best restaurants and nightlife. Please note you are in the tropics. While we strive to keep our unit bug free with minimal use of pesticides, they are a way of life in Hawaii. Madagascar gecko’s (green) and the smaller Hawaiian gecko’s (brown) roam free and do help by eating the little bugs.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The studio condo is private and all yours to enjoy. The condo key is accessed via a 4-digit lockbox code. The key for the pool gate, trash gate, and laundry room door is kept inside. The common pool area has tables, chairs, and gas BBQ’s for guest use. The coin laundry is on site directly beneath the unit. A free parking spot in front of the condo is included. A locked mailbox can be arranged for extended stays. <br />No smoking allowed in the units. There is a designated outdoor smoking area near the front carport.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />The condo is located 8 miles south of Kona airport. Restaurants, sandy beach, shopping malls and historic Kailua-Kona village are all within a short walking distance. Inexpensive public transportation includes the Hele-On bus and Kona Trolley. Roberts Hawaii Express Shuttle offers service from the airport.
