Ours is an unit on the ground floor in the back with unobstructed views of the ocean and coastline (no stairs and away from street noise). <br /><br />Our complex, the Beach Villa, is the newest development in Kailua-Kona and offers off-street parking, an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a cozy lava rock spa, a gas barbecue and a large picnic area with tables, chairs and lounge chairs for family gatherings. The Keikei area of the Infinity Pool is great for kids to play in or simply for all to sit and sunbathe in the shallow water. <br /><br />Our condo also offers a full cooking kitchen. Costco is a convenient stop on the way from the airport where guests may stock up for groceries.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests will have full use of this lovely, spacious (1063 SF) condo on the beach front which offers: <br />--- master bedroom with king bed and cable TV.<br />--- second bedroom with 2 twin beds which may be converted to a king.<br />--- living room with convertible sofa bed, cable TV and DVD.<br />--- lanai for relaxing and watching the colorful sunset, swaying palms & rolling waves. <br />--- 2 bathrooms, each with glass block shower and art glass sink.<br />--- full cooking kitchen.<br /><br />Guests will have also full access to all the amenities offered by the Beach Villas complex, including off-street parking, infinity pool, lava rock spa, and the barbecue area with tables, chairs, umbrellas and lounge chairs for family gatherings.<br /><br />Boogie boards, snorkel gears, cooler, umbrella, beach towels, beach chairs and sand toys are all available to guests without extra charges. However, to assure better fits, guests may bring their own gears.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />After having a morning cup of coffee, our guests typically gather their snorkeling gear and walk across the street to enjoy the best snorkeling spot on the island before the crowds show up. Sometime they are the only ones there and get to see the fish and turtles while the water is still pristine. Later in the afternoon after the crowds have left, they may even return for another round of snorkeling, surfing, or paddle boarding.
