The views are breathtaking by day and even more magical at sunset. With direct beach access via the Ilikai ramp and a prime location between Ala Moana Shopping Center and the heart of Waikiki, everything is just a short walk away: restaurants, shops, beach/surf spots, and island experiences.<br /><br />Inside the condo, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable king-sized bed, blackout curtains, a new split A/C system, a full work desk, a flat-screen TV with premium cable and streaming, and fast wifi for work or leisure. There’s also a spacious balcony where many guests begin and end their day, whether it’s coffee at sunrise or a glass of wine at sunset. <br /><br />For beach days, the condo includes essentials like beach towels, a beach umbrella, and two beach chairs, so you won’t need to bring or buy your own.<br /><br />Complimentary live music and hula shows take place in the courtyard below, while weekly fireworks at the lagoon next door add to the festive island atmosphere.<br /><br />Whether you’re here to relax, explore, or work remotely, we hope you’ll feel at home and cared for during your stay.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Ilikai amenities accessible to our guests include an adult lap pool and a children's wading pool, restaurants on both lobby and penthouse levels, cafe, ice cream shop, and other retail stores. Bell desk, luggage storage, and car rental are available in the lobby as well. Steps away from Ilikai are lagoon and beach access. Please note: guests do not have gym access at this time.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />PARKING - Parking is available in Ilikai, valet only, $45.00 per day at present, with unlimited in-and-out privileges. Self-parking is often available in the llikai Marina Tower nearby on Hebron Street, $30 at present for a 24-hour pass. Metered street parking is sometimes available waterfront behind Ilikai along Ala Wai Harbor, $1 per hour. Please check signs carefully for time restrictions. <br /><br />TRANSPORTATION - Uber and Lyft are readily available in and around Waikiki, and between the airport and Waikiki. Taxi is also available to and from the airport, usually at slightly highly rates than ride-shares. Waikiki has a very good bus system, with stops right in front of Ilikai. It's a convenient alternative if one doesn't want to deal with parking in Waikiki. <br /><br />GROCERIES - There is a convenience store in the lobby, several ABC stores nearby, and a large Foodland Supermarket at Ala Moana Shopping Center, which is the world's largest open-air shopping center. It has over 350 stores and restaurants, and 10-15 min away on foot. There are also Whole Foods, Walmart, and Sam’s Club in Honolulu.<br /><br />CLEANING & SANITIZING - We take cleaning and sanitizing very seriously. We follow Airbnb's five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb's cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts. We hire a professional cleaning crew to make sure your stay is clean and safe.
