Enjoy a little piece of paradise in central Waikiki. Luxury bedsheets provided for extra comfort. The unit is in a retro 1970s building in walking distance to beach, Diamond Head, zoo, International Market Place. The room faces the back of the building so it’s quiet at night. Balcony has a peek-a-boo view of the ocean.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This is a small studio on 11th floor, comfortable for two. There is a 6-foot (2 meter) futon that folds into a bed for a third person, and a good size for a child. The building is a small high rise in Waikiki and has 24-hour security, a deli, and a bicycle rental shop. The room is 206 square feet and the balcony is 36 square feet with small table and chairs. The mini kitchen is equipped for simple meals if you would like to heat up food or make breakfast. There are delicious food trucks and popular restaurants all around. Coffee, tea, shampoo & conditioner, beach chairs, umbrella and towels provided. There is no pool, but you have the most beautiful beach down the street!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Parking in Waikīkī is expensive. There is underground paid parking run by the city for $4/hour or $30/day. The parking space is small and tight, with 6-feet clearance. Larger public parking structures are one block away at the Waikiki Bayan 201 Ohua Ave. or two blocks away at the Waikiki Sunset 229 Paoakalani Ave. but charge more. Note that most parking structures in Waikiki have only a 6 foot clearance. There is both free and paid street parking around the neighborhood, but can be difficult to find. The bus is convenient and the bus stop is across the street. All of Waikiki is walkable from the condo. If you are arriving in the evening, parking is very limited, so it may be better to take a taxi or ride-share like Uber to avoid parking hassles, then rent a car in Waikīkī when you need.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />The Waikiki Luggage Storage is available in the building.<br />Affordable Luggage Storage Options:<br />Half Day (up to 12 hours): $8.00<br />Full Day (up to 24 hours): $12.00<br /><br />Building management is in the process of contracting a laundromat for the building.
