This beautifully remodeled corner studio on 35th floor of Hawaiian Monarch is the perfect place to enjoy your Waikiki vacation! With awesome views of Diamond Head, Ala Wai canal, ocean, mountains and the city, this condo has it all. Guests can specify if they want one split King bed or two Twin XL beds when booking. It has a full bath and a full kitchen of brand new appliances. The best dining, shopping, entertainment and night life which Waikiki has to offer are all in walking distance.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This unit #3506A was completely remodeled in November 2022. One split King size bed can be easily separated into two Twin XL beds for the flexibility of sleep arrangement (please let us know your preference for one King bed or two Twin XL beds after booking so that we can arrange it for you accordingly. Guest requesting rearrangement of bed setting after check in needs to pay $40 for our cleaner). A 27.5" round dinning table and a 20"x40" desk provide separate work spaces for two. Smart TV/ Cable TV and high speed WIFI connection up to 100M are included. The full kitchen has a brand new 24" glass top range and a full size refrigerator. Check in is through a lockbox in the lower lobby for guests to self-check in. The unit shares a small private entryway(Foyer) with adjoining unit #3506B on the left.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Entire studio and building common areas:<br />Lower Lobby Floor (LL): Lock box, Security office (close after 5pm, but security is on property 24/7), Gym ($5 per guest for your entire stay)<br /><br />Lobby Floor (L): Security Desk (after 5pm), Activities & Rental Car Desk, Mini Mart, Coffee Shop, Café, restaurants.<br /><br />Fifth Floor: Salt Water Roof-Top Pool(6F), Jacuzzi, BBQ area, Ice Machine, Vending Machines, Laundry Facilities<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Get your keycard from the lock box in the Lower Lobby (LL) level. Check in instructions will be provided within 12hrs before your check in time. You will need the keycard to operate the elevators on the right side to reach the 35th floor, and into the room. In case the keycard is not functioning, please stop by at the security office (LL) before 5PM or security desk (L) after 5PM to reprogram the key. <br /><br />The building provides 24hr security guards and security cameras on every hallway, entry way, and elevator for your peace of mind.<br /><br />Luggage storage service is provided by the security office on the lower lobby (LL) level for $5 each bag, CASH ONLY.<br /><br />Concierge/activity booth and 808SmartCar rental are on the upper lobby (L). They rent Smart Cars, Surfboards, Beach Chairs & Umbrellas, Coolers, etc., and lots of Island Activities/Tours!<br /><br />Other rental of cars, scooters and bikes are nearby within minutes of walking distance.<br /><br />Parking along the Ala Wai Canal (right behind the building) is free but a space may be hard to find. Building garage parking is CASH ONLY at rate of $50 for a single day pass or $45/day for multiple days. If you rent from 808 Smart Car Rentals inside the building, you may receive up to 50% discount on parking.<br /><br />Alternate parking option at lower rate is within walking distance.<br /><br />Other things to note<br /><br />VERY LATE CHECK-IN:<br />If you are arriving late the door to the elevators on ground level (Lower Lobby (LL)) will be locked due to after hours. But you can walk up to Lobby (L) set of elevators. Just take short stairway inside next to King's Pub or walk 500 feet past the drop off driveway along the right side to the sidewalk and veer right where it turns into the Lobby (L).<br /><br />**Exterior spalling and painting of the building is going on.
