All the luxury and romance of a classy beach resort for the price of a regular airbnb!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Ilikai Hotel and Resort is situated ocean front with a beautiful harbor, lagoon, and long white sandy beach just steps from the property. This is a gorgeous beach front location with several restaurants, bars, stores, a coffee shop, massage spa, and car rental located on the property. Two pools are available for your use. One is a shallow kid and family friendly oasis and the other is a full swimming pool for everyone to enjoy. These pools are just steps away from a gorgeous white sand beach where the family-friendly fun continues in a mixed sun/shade arena of delight. You could spend days here and never step more than a few feet off the property. The room itself is equipped with all the extras. A fully capable kitchen provides the convenience and savings ($) of cooking your own meals. Bath and beach towels are provided along with a cart full of beach gear to stroll with down to the water. The unit sleeps 5 adults with a luxurious king size bed and a full size sleeper sofa. An additional top of the line twin blowup mattress is provided for an additional guest. On a large balcony that overlooks the city with majestic green volcanic mountains in the backgrounds there is an outdoor dining area and hammock chair where you can begin and end your day with a nice view. Every Friday evening you can enjoy an AMAZING free fireworks show from this property overlooking the ocean. While everyone else is scrambling to find beach front parking for the show you will just stroll down to the ocean side of the building . Many magical moments begin here at the iconic Ilikai but that’s not where it ends. A quick stroll off the property puts you right in the middle of all the action in Waikiki with endless restaurants, bars, activists, tours, beaches, and nightlife. This listing checks all the boxes! LOCATION. CONVENIENCE. COMFORT. With the convenience of this unit you can cook full meals, do laundry, watch netflix, and relax after a long and exciting day exploring the beauty of Oahu. Or you can head to one of the many bars and restaurants located onsite to wind down and live in luxury. So treat yourself like the royal family of Waikiki at the price of a local resident!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guest will have shared access to all the whole property (2 pools, laundry, bars, restaurants, shopping, massage, grocery, etc...) and complete private access to the unit. As a airbnb guest you will not have access to the gym and hotel front desk / concierge. Check in is with a keypad code to the front door of the unit.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Please note the following parking options in order of my recommendation:<br /><br />1) Public first come first serve parking: $1 p/hr. There is a public marina / beach parking lot just behind the hotel and this is the cheapest parking available in the area. I recommend this parking for the price and proximity. It can be difficult to find a spot fri evening due to the free fireworks show but otherwise finding a spot in this lot shouldn’t be a problem. <br /><br />2) Private garage parking next door: $33 p/day. This is also a great option if you prefer secured garage parking. The sister building to the Ilikai hotel (Ilikai Marina Condos) offers garage parking in their building. You can park here and walk across a breezeway to the hotel. It will be about the same distance or a little more as walking from the public lot. <br /><br />3) Valet parking at the hotel: $45 p/night. Includes in and out privileges. By far the most convenient parking option. Just pull up to the front of the hotel and walk straight to the elevator with your luggage.
