Aloha and welcome to our condo oasis in down-town Waikiki! <br />Located in the Monarch Hotel, guests will be able to take advantage of all the amenities this building has to offer at a fraction of the price of other accommodations in Waikiki. Equipped w/ AC, Smart TV, Cable, Wifi, & fully stocked kitchenette. Paid parking on site; limited parking on streets surrounding. Enjoy the wall to wall views of the Ala Wai Canal, and the Ko'olau Mountains.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Renovated in 2023, this condo is clean and refreshed, with new furniture, mattress, linens, and appliances.<br /><br />This unit is located within the Hawaiian Monarch Condo-Hotel. <br />Address: 444 Niu st. Honolulu HI 96815; Corner of Niu St and Ala Wai Blvd.<br />This is a legal vacation apartment in Waikiki; Self check in with lockbox. <br /><br />-PLEASE NOTE: Cleaning fee of $100 & Hawaii taxes of ~19% will be added to nightly rate & applied at time of payment! Unfortunately, taxes are unavoidable no matter where you stay on the island.<br />-Cleaning will be done prior to your stay & once you check out. This is a clean, well located, & up-kept studio condo, but this is NOT a luxury hotel with daily cleaning services. <br /><br />The studio itself is totally private; only accessible by checked in guests w/ key card. Building has 24/7 security. This space has a queen bed, stocked kitchenette (fridge, electric hotplate, toaster oven/air fryer, coffee pot, cups, plates, silverware), stocked bathroom w/ tub shower, hairdryer, clothing steamer, and a standing clothing rack. <br />The unit is north-west facing and overlooks the Ala Wai Canal and Koolau Mountains with beautiful morning light and gorgeous sunsets!<br /><br />Building Features:<br />-Main lobby provides cafe “Muffins Yum”, an adorable garden restaurant “Cream Pot” on the canal end, a pizza place, take-out options, convenience store in lower lobby for everyday needs, a dedicated work space w/ wifi & tv's, 808 car rental (cheaper than anywhere else!), scooter rental, & parking garage (CASH only payments to parking attendants- hourly ($6) & daily ($45) rate options and for 2 or more days (40$)<br />-For your convenience, if you arrive before your check-in time you may leave your bags in the security office for $5 per bag!<br />-Swimming pool, Jacuzzi's, BBQ's, Ice, vending, ATM machines, community coin laundry room. The gym is located in the lower lobby. You will need to register at the security office for a pass during your stay.<br />-Located directly across the street from a new Food Truck Park!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests have full access to the entire unit as well as the elevators, amenities, and services the hotel provides once they are checked in and given the lockbox information to access the key card. Please, make yourself at home.<br /><br />If you happen to lock yourself out of your room, please go down to the security office, they will be able to help you there. There is a $15.00 service fee to open the door for an occupant who locks themselves out of their unit.<br /><br />If you lose your room key and need to purchase a new key card, cards cost $20.00; CASH only; NO REFUNDS.<br />New keycards will be issued with prior written/verbal authorization provided to the Security Office by the owner/rental agent.<br />Keycards that wear out through normal use will be exchanged without charge.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Nearby:<br />-Waikiki is a walkable neighborhood of Honolulu, however Uber/Lyft are easily accessible here. <br />-Hawaii bus transportation is among the best in the country and can take you just about anywhere on island! <br />-Biki bike sharing rental is a short walk away<br />-24 hour 7/11 & nearby ABC store<br />-Lost of restaurants and nightlife in walking distance.<br />-20 minute walk to beaches<br />-20 minute walk to Ala Moana mall<br />-15 minute walk to New International Market & shopping<br />-25 minute walk to the Honolulu Zoo<br /><br />Please send Guest name(s) upon booking confirmation. We must register those with the building management prior to your arrival.
