The space is updated & peaceful; equipped w/ AC, Smart TV, Cable, Wifi, & fully stocked kitchenette. Less than 5 blocks to beaches where both learner & expert waves break year round! Paid parking on site. Wall to wall ocean views & cozy boho design to make you feel right at home!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This unit is located within the Hawaiian Monarch Condo-Hotel. Address: 444 Niu st. Honolulu HI 96815; Corner of Niu st and Ala Wai Blvd.<br />This is a legal vacation apartment in Waikiki; Self check in with lockbox. <br /> -PLEASE NOTE: Cleaning fee of $110 & Hawaii taxes of ~18% will be added to the nightly rate & applied at time of payment! Unfortunately, taxes are unavoidable no matter where you stay on the island. Total payment seen when requesting to book, is the complete total! No hidden or additional fees. <br /> -Cleaning will be done prior to your stay & once you check out. This is a clean, well located, & up-kept studio condo, but this is NOT a luxury hotel with daily cleaning services. Additional cleaning services during the stay may be able to be scheduled upon availability and at guest’s expense. <br /><br />The studio itself is totally private; only accessible by checked in guests w/ key card. Building has 24/7 security. The space has a queen bed, stocked kitchenette (fridge, microwave, electric hotplate, toaster oven, coffee pot, cups, plates, silverware), stocked bathroom w/ tub shower, iron, hairdryer, a dresser, & a small compartment to hang clothing. <br />The unit overlooks the pool deck and has a view of the ocean & Waikiki city scape. Spectacular sunsets! <br /><br />Building Features:<br />-Main lobby provides cafe “Muffins Yum”, an adorable garden restaurant “Cream Pot” on the canal end, pizza place, take-out options, convenience store for everyday needs, dedicated work space w/ wifi & tv's, 808 car rental (cheaper than anywhere else!), scooter rental, & parking garage (cash only payments to parking attendants- hourly ($6) & daily ($45) rate options). <br />-Swimming pool, Jacuzzi's, bbq's, Ice, vending, ATM machines, community coin laundry room. The gym is located at the lower lobby. You will need to register at the security office for a pass during your stay.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests have full access to the entire unit as well as the elevators, amenities, and services the hotel provides once they are checked in and given the lockbox information to access the key card. <br /><br />House Rules:<br />-CHECK-IN: Check-in is 3pm or after. Earlier check-in may be pre-arranged if unit is available.<br />-CHECK-OUT: 11am or before. If guests do not check out by 11AM on check out date and guests are not reachable by telephone, landlord/host reserves the right to pack guests' belongings and place in storage so the unit may be cleaned and prepared for next guests stay. <br />-Any games or room items used must be put away as found!<br />-KEYCARDS: Please leave all keys inside the lockbox at checkout. $40 will be deducted from security deposit for each lost key if not replaced or put back into lockbox.<br />-Quiet hours are between 10PM and 8AM. <br />-No pets or smoking anywhere on the premisses please! <br />-TRASH: Upon checkout please clean and dry your dishes and take your trash out to the trash room opposite the elevators. <br />-No bikes inside building elevators.<br />-Use caution around & close large kitchen window when not in room (avoid birds & high winds making a mess of things).<br />-CHARGES/FEES: the platform will save your payment method in the event that the property is not left in the condition in which it was upon your arrival. You may be charged for excessive mess or repair/replacement for damages to the room or its contents.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Nearby:<br />-Uber/lyft is great here & the location is exceptional if you just wanted to forego a vehicle.<br />-Bus stop that can take you just about anywhere on island <br />-biki bike sharing rental <br />-24 hour 7/11 & nearby ABC store<br />-Waikiki brewing is across the street! Many other restaurants w/in walking distance.<br />-20 minute walk to beaches<br />-20 minute walk to Ala Moana mall<br />-15 minute walk to New International Market & shopping<br />-25 minute walk to the Honolulu Zoo<br /><br />Please send Guest name(s) upon booking confirmation.
